Brightness
We use these to replace the halogen bulbs in a set of fog lights that we put on a golf cart. These are extremely bright and work awesome.

Not very bright at all.
I bought these due to them having LEDs on 4 sides as the ones I had only had them on 2 sides and had a narrow beam. These are not even a quarter as bright as the other ones I have and not even half a bright as the halogen bulbs. I don't recommend them.

No good for NON reflective light(Hellas) maybe for tractor, quad,DRL,fog. A+ price..but..
The media could not be loaded. I found and older set of Hella 500? Slim, Driving etc. light housings from my jeep days..Figured I would grab a cheap cheap pair of LED bulbs, thinkin LED Woulda have too be brighter then the 55w fillimant bulbs But NOPE..I put these in the Hellas, and they suck.. if they were dog style Hellas, or crystal background with reflector, or a type of driving light housing like on a quad or car, they would probably be OK.But, in a regular clear housing, clear glass lens, these bulbs are no good. The individual LED-diodes, (I think there are 30x lower wat led/smd chips in each bulb) and ime, anytime there are that many, usually means they are meant for lower wattage, like for DRL,reverse lights, small housing lights etc.My opinion, these are fine for a garden tractor, or too get some type of light output out of some old housing. But don’t expect a clean clear pattern.(again depending the light/housing they go in)And WTH.. if my garden tractor blows its bulbs, or my quad, or the old rubber mounted lights on one of the trucks or equipment blow, atleast I’ll have a set of bulbs too put in.. too give some type of light..I’d say there a bit brighter then a 3157’LED in a DRL on a GM truck, but not much..If you want more watts, distance, clear pattern,Look for H3 LED with only 1-2x bigger cree’LED chips.. Anytime I see more then 2-3 chips on LEDs, IME, that usually means there just lower grade bulbs that LOOK’ bright, but don’t put out what you expect..Another sign these are cheap, and don’t put out, NO heat dissipation fan, or heats unc, there not even aluminum.. there stamped sheet metal with some chips soldered on..like I said..CHEAP $,But they are a CLEAR white 6k color. fit right in the socket decent. (Tad bit of play on the Hellas)Perfect for DRL, lawn tractor, maybe a small quad, or old work light on a machine you want too get working.I will say they don’t draw hardly any juice’..they will Dimm’ down, too about 5-6?volts DC. So prob would be ok on a moped, or scooter or something that doesn’t have a battery.. and dons when at idle.I left them on for about a minute, and did not feel much heat on the glass, that could be a good thing for plastic housings, cheap lights etc..One thing I do like about H3 style bulbs, is I can add these too almost any plastic or metal housing, ie: the low beam housings on a 99 ford ranger..I can drill a 3/8”-1/2” hole anywhere I want.. put a rubber orings at the base, add a ground, and self tap’er, dab off RTV around them. And Add these into almost any housing on a vehicle , and use them as a DRL,city light, etc. beck could even put them in the tail light housings, for better backup lights..as for how long they’ll last.. No idea. But only 7$Imho.. go for something up abi e the 20$-30$range, and make sure there’s pictures with reviews.. AND usually a heat sink of some sort, and only 1-2x Cree chips is a good sign there brighter..some think a bulb is bright..but they’ve been driving with filament bulbs still in 2023..and or never owned decent driving/spot/led’ lights…That’s All I got too say about that.. 🤷♂️
