Hold lots of weight
Held up my large curtain and rod with no trouble. Just make sure to give it time to set after applying to wall.

Fantastic Replacement to the old ones
Full disclosure: not sure if these are replacing the other curtain hooks Command has (the ones with the large hook that curve upward), but if so they're good. These have a thicker base, so they feel more solid. They have held soundproofing curtains up in my rental off the highway for the last year or so, over a year? I really recommend them, and if you follow the instructions, they do stay upright. You also need to make sure that if you have them on a wall that faces direct sunlight that they have some shade or cooling on them so the adhesive doesn't loosen. I learned that the hard way. These are awesome and if you can't drill, as I technically can't since I'm in a rental, they can save you that hassle (especially if you don't want to patch a bunch of holes when you inevitably leave because they are selling your house). I digress: follow Command's directions and these last and hold up your curtain poles. I have 3 on my larger stretch of windows... just to keep the pole from putting too much weight on the other 2 hooks. That has worked well for me so far. You may need to adjust depending on how long your pole is. Do the measuring, watch things, and if you think you need more, you need more.

Did not Stick AT ALL
I wish I could give this product a zero stars rating. First of all, I read all of the reviews. I knew that it was hit or miss with this product. However, the need for this type of wall mount was greater than my own common sense, so I bought them in spite of the negative reviews. I followed the instructions to the letter...cleaned the area before I started...let it cure overnight...I did all the things. I even took some advice from others who wrote reviews about their own issues. My observations: 1. The opening is only big enough for a small curtain rod. Anything that is 1 inch or larger will not work. 2. This will not stick the wall AND hold the mount, a curtain rod, and curtains. The curtains I was hanging were sheer and weighed less than 1 pound. 3. After it fell to the floor multiple times, I ended up having to drill a hole in the plastic anchor piece and screw it to the wall. So, for the purpose intended (not having to drill a hole in the wall), this did not work.I would recommend the kind of curtain rod holders that have small nails in them and tap into the molding above the window frame, though. They do not damage the wall and will hold any style curtains and curtain rods. I bought a set of those and they were PERFECT. In fact, I have them on several windows in my house. I should have just gone with them to begin with.

Love this product. gave me a fix to a difficult problem.
These are awesome. i have a bonus bedroom and above my window its slanted and uneven. my only hope was stick on curtain rods and an abnormally short curtain rod. unfortunately command strips never work for me. too finicky and fragile. i purchased these along side grola glue tape and wow. i have two packs of curtains on it currently. a heavy blackout curtain, and a transparent glitter one on top . i was surprised it hung so well. but i definitely recommend the gorilla glue tape if u aren’t worried about taking off paint possibly. havent tried yet but im sure it will.

⭐️⭐️ Command Window Hooks – Great in Theory, a Nightmare in Reality ⭐️⭐️
Ah, Command Window Hooks—the dream of a damage-free curtain-hanging experience! Too bad that dream turns into a 2 AM heart attack when your curtains come crashing down like an uninvited ghost.I followed every instruction to the letter—cleaned the wall, waited 24 hours, added curtains one side at a time over 48 hours—only for the entire setup to violently betray me in the dead of night. Not only did they fail, but they took my curtain rod down with them, nearly punching a hole in the wall and making me question every life choice that led to this moment.Thinking maybe I was the problem, I bought replacement strips and gave them another shot. Spoiler alert: They flopped again. The only thing these hooks successfully hold up is my regret for ever purchasing them. The sad part? I stocked up on multiple packs for different rooms. Now I have a pile of expensive disappointment. To top it off, even when they stay up (which is only when they’re EMPTY), the rod placement is so close to the wall that my curtains look smushed and sad.If you need a hook that holds nothing but your broken dreams, these are perfect. Otherwise, grab a drill, some real hardware, and spare yourself the stress.

Fell off the wall after a year and a half
Bought these in December 2024 and one just fell off the wall, ~17 months later. Curtain + rod weighed around 2-3 pounds. Not sure what the expected lifespan is on these but I was happy with them up until this point so I'm getting new strips to put them back up. YMMV.

Effective
It was very easy to set up. I used it to hang some moderately heavy curtains a couple months ago, and it’s still going strong. Not sure about removal yet, hopefully it won’t take off any paint

Worked perfectly, but removal took paint off.
Bought these for apartment living and was thrilled it solved my problem of needing a temporary curtain rod holder without having a tension rod on the inside of the window sill. Used these in two places - one was covering a single window with two heavier blackout curtains on it, the other was going across two larger windows but just had lightweight light filtering curtains. Both stayed put on the wall without issue for about 10 months and were perfect for what I needed.HOWEVER, when I went to remove them, the command strips really wanted to remain stuck on the wall. I followed the instructions and was super gentle, but on about half of the strips the bottom of the command strips ripped apart/off while trying to remove them. The strips ended up taking paint off in two of the four places I had these hanging. I’ve used command strips a ton before without issue, so I was super surprised. If you get these, just be careful during removal and be prepared for a potential small painting touch up afterwards!
