Ok Quality Incubator
Although this incubator is identified as an incubator for newborn puppies, it can also work for kittens and chickens.I previously bred Peterbald cats and used incubators as one part of a seven-part protocol for preventing fading kitten syndrome, where the hairless kittens would not survive to one month of age. The heat allows the kittens to use the calories they gain from mother's milk for growth, not just for maintaining body temperature. Even coated kittens would grow faster in an incubator. There are some issues with this incubator, which are similar to issues I experienced with other incubators, which is why I abandoned the use of incubators in favor of turning the entire kittening room into a very large incubator by increasing the temperature and controlling the humidity for the entire room. (A wine cellar is a good option, since the room is designed for temperature and humidity control, albeit in this case you are heating the room instead of chilling it.)This puppy incubator must be assembled after arrival. It wasn't too difficult to put it together. There is a sliding door in front to provide access to the puppies. There is a temperature/humidity display in the upper left corner and a temperature control in the upper right corner. There is a light bulb switch next to the thermostat. The temperature is controlled by turning a 75W light bulb on and off. The thermostat turns the light on when the temperature drops and turns it off when it reaches the desired temperature. This can yield a temperature anywhere from room temperature to as high as 124 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no fan for circulating the air, so there will be hot spots. The use of a light bulb to heat the incubator means the light must be on to turn on the heat. Peterbald kittens are often born with their eyes open, instead of waiting 7-10 days to open like coated cat breeds. This can cause the corneas to dry out (which makes the kittens blind). One can use ophthalmic eye ointment to address this, but then the kittens have "squinty eyes" as adults. The solution I found was to keep the kittens in the dark for the first two weeks of their lives; they naturally keep the eyes closed when the lights are off. Obviously, this won't work for an incubator that uses a light bulb as a source of heating. This incubator does not provide humidity control. So, with a heat source, the air in the incubator may get very dry. This can be a problem for newborn kittens and puppies, so you will have to add supplemental humidity. The heating is from above. That may work for chickens, but does not work as well for kittens and puppies. It is better to have heating from below, like they do in incubators for human babies.I was a bit concerned about the quality of the temperature control. The temperature fluctuated quite a bit, and not just because of the potential for hot spots. In effect, you have to be concerned that you might be literally cooking the kittens and puppies. If you get this, I strongly recommend that you buy an independent temperature alarm that will alert you if the temperature gets too hot or too cold. The dimensions are 40 cm (15.7 inches) deep, 43 cm (17 inches) tall and 55 cm (21.6 inches) wide.A mother cat is anywhere from 10 inches to 16 inches tall. Peterbald cats and Cornish Rex cats are 12 inches tall, British Shorthair are 14 inches tall, and Maine Coon cats are 16 inches tall. This means the mother cat is too close to the bulb if she stands up, and she may get burned as a result. There also isn't a lot of room in the incubator for the mother cat to move around, especially if you want to include food and water bowls and a small litter box. (There's no place to mount food and water bowls off the ground. You don't want the babycats to accidentally drown. But, you can always drill a few holes to retrofit cage-style bowl holders.)So, the primary use case for this incubator will involve temporarily putting the mother cat or dog in the incubator to nurse the kittens every two hours, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You might also leave the door open for her to enter and exit as she pleases, though that will affect the accuracy of temperature control. The incubator may also be useful for taking care of kittens when the mother is not available, in which case a human being will need to supplement them with KMR every two hours round the clock. This may work best for chickens.

Well received
This intelligent puppy incubator for newborns was designed with clever features that ensure a very friendly and easy environment for the puppies to thrive in. The smart technology was impressive and the ability to gauge and monitor the temperatures in such a simple way is nice. I find that this was made with premium quality materials and offers the features just as described. Based on a positive experience, I would recommend this to other consumers.

5-Star Review: Puppy IncubatorThis puppy incubator is a lifesaver for new litters! It provides the perfect environment for keeping puppies warm and safe, especially during those critical first weeks. The temperature control is easy to adjust and maintains a consistent heat, which is essential for their development. I love the spacious design that allows the mother to be close to her puppies while giving them a cozy space of their own. The build quality is excellent, and it’s easy to clean, which is a huge plus. Overall, this incubator has made a significant difference in caring for my puppies, and I highly recommend it to any breeder or pet owner!

Somewhat disappointed on quality
I’m somewhat disappointed on the build quality and the fact there is no heat from below it just uses a heating lamp at this price it should have a pad to also add heat I can get the same thing for a lot cheaper.
