great product
This GameCube adapter works flawlessly with my Switch, PC, and Wii U. Setup was super easy—just plug and play. The controllers respond with zero lag, vibration works great, and it even supports turbo. Cable length is perfect for my setup. Feels sturdy and well-made, definitely worth the price. Highly recommend, especially for Smash Bros fans!

Difference in controller buttons
I got this product to make it easier to play with my niece and nephew when I babysit. My nephew is obsessed with my Nintendo switch, but we have a hard time playing two player with the tiny controllers that comes with it. I looked up the cost to get some controllers in the old Nintendo or GameCube style and most of them are stupid expensive. I still have my old GameCube and controllers so when I saw this adaptor that allowed you to use them and was also cheaper, I jumped at it. Very simple to hook it up to the device. I was worried that there would be some long installation process or syncing that I would have to figure out, but it starts working as soon as you plug it in. You just have to go into the control settings and choose which controller to use. I give this a 4 star for only one reason and I'm not sure it's really the adaptors fault, but a difference between the old and new systems. The controller buttons don't take the same actions that your accustomed to. Say, you play a game that you play all the time with the switch controllers and the jump button would always be "A" but when you use the adaptor the jump button would be "Y" or something. You would have to get used to a new set of rules for the buttons. Not a big deal for me, since I just need the extra controllers to babysit, but I was still a little disappointed that everything didn't match up since I grew up with the old controllers and you can't use the buttons the same way you remember. Other than that, I think it's a great product.

Works for dolphin
Works well on Dolphin emulator. Have not tried on wii u or switch. Note there can be considerable input lag if you use it in PC mode in dolphin, switching it to wii u/switch mode and using the native option to interpret the gamecube adapter works to reduce input lag for me.

Love it
This is a great product and has made my life easier. It’s so easy to set up and this makes it so much quicker to switch from PC to WIi. The cable length is just what I needed this was just a great price!

Great adapter
Perfect little adapter we had needed this for a connection issue and it has multiple ports, which is really nice. It fit our gaming system perfectly and it’s small. It’s compact it doesn’t take up a lot of room and it was really easy to set up within minutes. We had it set up, but it’s working great so far.

Buy the Mayflash adapter instead - Custom driver insight and configuring the input
Please buy the official Mayflash brand adapter instead. That one does not have any of these problems. It just works. Now, about this adapter. Plugging the same (even OEM) controller into each port results in the device sending different payloads to your processor, for the analog output (at least). All analog signals; so the joystick, dpad, and triggers. This problem is most egregious with the joysticks. The controller drift this creates is a nightmare, unusable. After weeks of trying to reverse engineer this in an attempt to make my custom driver (for PC) reliable (the problem can be intermittent and worsens the longer the adapter is plugged in). I decided this was impossible without adding a complex calibration system. You have to understand, even setting the deadzones in Steam settings to the absolute max is not enough. The joysticks will eventually start to drift to the point where the center (hands off) value flickers between the maximum possible value of the stick (!) and a random value closer to the expected center. This means a game will think you are always trying to move in that, also random, direction. Complete nightmare. Since this adapter performs differently for each controller you have and which port it is connected to, and the fact Steam recognizes this adapter as one device, you have to reconfigure your Steam input every time you plug in a controller. The bugginess of the adapter makes it even harder, since Steam will think you are pressing buttons, etc, when you actually aren't. Trying to configure the dpad, in particular, is practically impossible. (Breathe.) Okay, the Mayflash adapter I bought does not have ANY of these problems. It just WORKS. Although Steam still recognizes that adapter as one device, but that doesn't matter. Even the dpad works noticeably better in games; I didn't know that was possible. It works with various generic controllers and OEM controllers perfectly. I should have never bought this cheap knockoff.
