Millrose 70660 Monster Roll PTFE Thread Seal Tape, 1/2-Inch x 260-Inch, Blue

Plumber friend says Blue Monster does the job. Having a tough time stopping a leak (pool 10-psi-pressure water) on new check valve (excellent price, but threads probably not cut rightly). Suspect threads on check valve (cpvc) are 2-inch National Pipe Straight. Trying to mate it with 2-inch NPT National Pipe Tapered male black polypropylene fittings. Bought check valve online (starts with a, ends with zon) product probably made youknowwhere-starts with c ends with hina. Good ball check, suspicious of threads. On 3rd try at assembly, used Blue Monster thread dope on male and female threads, with 5 wraps of Blue Monster tape over dope on male threads. Messy, but it works.

This product is far superior to the white, generic tape I've been using forever. Is easier to handle. Seals very well. BIG improvement.

I’m using this tape for an alternative use- ear stretching! I’ve found that PTFE tape is a body safe tape and comes in just about the correct size! Its good to use to help you move up through that awkward stage where you are halfway between gauge sizes. I think it’s a good price for how little I use of it each time. I was a little surprised to see no decipherable adhesive side and how stretchy the tape was, but I figured it out and it worked great! Def a little more friction putting it through my lobes than just the metal tunnel itself, but as always with stretching, I used jojoba oil to help massage and lubricate the piercing hole.

This stuff is great. Use it for plumbing repairs and upgrades both in the house and in the garden.

This stuff works great by far the best PTFE tape I've tired yet.

Seal pressure washer hoses great. Thick seal tape and worth the money. Took away 1 star due to the sellers picture showing 3 rolls. You are only ordering 1 roll. But still a great product.

This tape is way better than the vanilla white thin tape. 3 wraps are good enough while the vanilla one needs at least 6 wraps and may still leak. I'll never go back again.
