Spiralizer game changer!
I specifically searched for one of these spiralizer that was all metal construction. Mostly made with stainless steel nicely finished. No sharp edges. Easy to clean. Handle is wood with clear rubber suction cup feet that hold firm to a smooth countertop.Overall the unit is very sturdy and will likely last for years.Other units do not have a self feed feature. This one does. As you turn the handle the internal gearing advances the veggie into the blades progressively shaving the veg into noodles. So easy! There is an on / off black plastic knob you turn to engage or release the handle rod. When off the rod slides smoothly back and forth to load or release the veggie. There are various interchangeable blades that provide various noodle sizes. There is also a straight blade for shaving as well. Blades are easy to put on and take off. There are hook like bends on the end that fit into slot in the blade holder end of the machine. This sped up noodle making by 10 times or more than the twisting cheap unit I was using before. I actually smile now when making veggie noodles!

Awesome Spiralizer
I’m only leaving a review because some of the negative reviews on this product made me hesitate to buy it, and I only ended up buying it because I wanted to avoid a plastic spiralizer. I search high and low and decided to take a chance.Man!!! This spiralizer surpassed my expectations. First of all it’s is easy to set up, just add the handle and you’re in business. Small and not bulky, easy to store and keep nearby for regular use. Easy to clean, not too many pieces. Sturdy, the suction holds well. Works well and saves time - onions done, cabbage done, next up : sweet potatoes. My only wish is for the different blades to be labeled or have their foot color coded or something. Not a big deal but would be a sweet addition.I also love it if we could purchase additional blades (slicing 🙏) and replacement blades for when the originals get dull. It’s only been a week, but I’m very pleased with my purchase.

On off switch
I gave four stars only because there are very little instructions that came with in in a small bookle (hat. I was wishing that the pictures were bigger as to what each of the six blades do. They are so small that I could hardly see them. I had to get a zucchini and experiment with each blade to see what it does. Or they could have included that information in the booklet. Also no instructions how to put in a new blade. I just had to figure it out myself. Other than that, it is all metal(you have to be more careful of all the sharp corners and places). For function it works really well. I really like it a lot! It gives me lots of different sizes of noodles. From angel hair to large ribbons. I have the plastic one, and I never got noodles, only lumps. This one works beautifully every time.!

Great zoodler
This works great unfortunately the veggie has to be the right size so part often of the zucchini has to be cut off and sliced otherwise.I use mainly one type of blade but glad to have the other options. The suction cups are OK but not on my cutting board so I end up holding it with one hand to stabilize it while turning the handle.Have done carrots, sweet potatoes and zucchini and am pleased with the results. The grip hold the veggie well but it is a it tough to clean. I bought a special brush for it. Be careful the blades are very sharp!Easy to use, versatile. I keep it stored back in it's box each time after cleaning.Pretty study and seems like it will last quite a while.Looks very bare metal but does the job

Works Just how It was Described
I wanted a metal spiralizer and this one met my requirements. It only spiralizes and that is all I wanted. It is very easy to operate and makes great spirals. I can easily clean it and put it away so I do not have to display it on my kitchen counter. I watched a short video to see how it works and about the different blades that I found helpful. The only tip I have is to cut the spirals so they are easier to serve. As an aside I do not know how long the blades will stay sharp but so far so good!

Update:: Received a returned item that wasn’t cleaned.
I was hoping this would be a good alternative to the plastic shredders that I’ve seen on here and that it would last me a long time, but it came already used with residue left on it. This also doesn’t come with 6 “removable” blades, it comes with 5 interchangeable blades and the blade that is always there is considered the 6th. I ordered a replacement for the dirty used one I received and that one was even dirtier than the first. I will probably try to find a different brand or maybe won’t order it from Amazon since this will probably happen a third time.Update:I washed one of the units because I figured I could see how well it works to justify keeping it. The inner blade that is fixed is chipped.

I want to love this but...
I'm having a hard time getting the vegetables to stick to the top part (with the spikes) long enough to get it to slice anything. Even large items like apples fall off. I've tried holding on to them, but then I ended up slicing the back of my finger! (And the blades are VERY sharp.)I love that this is steel and not plastic, but some design changes would make it better! It claims that you can use it one-handed, but I did not find that the suction cups worked that well. If I wasn't holding onto the zucchini or carrot, then I was holding the spiralizer down so it wouldn't go sliding all over my counter. So far, I've tried it with a carrot, a cucumber, zucchini and apples. With the carrot, it would have been far easier to use a grater, the cucumber was just too soft, the zucchini worked once I messed with it enough for it to hold on, and the apples worked the best, though those seemed to be too heavy for the little spikes to hold onto and once again, I had to hold onto them long enough to get the blades to really be embedded into the apple body.
