I have had a set of 2 of these for about 15+ years and the metal on the clip of one has worn down so it won't stay closed. That's a really long lifespan for a $3 pair of clips. I'm not careful with them either. They've spent a lot of time at the bottom of backpacks and makeup cases and sitting in car consoles in hot and cold weather.Totally worth the money.Strong clasp, easy to open and close, doesn't slide down through the day. If you have super thick hair you might want a larger size. I have average hair and this is perfect for me when i want to pull up the sides of my hair or pull back half.I'll let you know how long these last when I buy more in 30 years.

I have been using these Goody hair barrettes for many years. They now are difficult to find at physical stores. These barrettes are still generally a good product except one end the clasp seems to come unglued on some of the barrettes.

So happy that I found these without the non-slip backing. Having thicker hair, this style slides into place easier without getting stuck before it’s through the hair. The clasp was tight and secure, keeping my hair in place all day while working. Slender, simple and comfortable design. Plus price was great for set of 4.

I have a version of these that I was looking to replace. The dimensions seemed right but these are much smaller than I expected. They look like they are for little kids.

I have been buying these for years, but the ones I purchased through amazon are not the same quality. The plastic snaps in half and the metal clasps pop open constantly. I have also had the same problem with the goody hair clips. I feel that these are not a genuine product, probably a cheap knockoff. Don’t waste your money.

The extra length of these clasps is really practical for just keeping long hair out of one's face. They grab and hold very well, are sturdy and have a nice optical finish.
