Beware - No photos!
Just received this cookbook and I’m not as impressed as with other copycat cookbooks I’ve purchased from the same author. The first thing that stands out is that there are no photos. None. They’ve drawn images for illustration purposes and it leaves much to be desired. The book is full of recipes, so the lack of photos may not matter to you, but I probably would have thought twice when buying had I known.

A Way to Eat & Indulge in Your Favorite Meals.... at Home!!!
This cookbook is another GIFT in a collection of MASTERPIECES as far as I'm concerned! Okay, fast food & restaurants are probably one of the worst things we can do to/for our bodies and our health and that of our families...but NOW, with the help of Todd Wilbur, we can actually make the foods and treats that we grew up eating and still like to enjoy..... but without the horrible preservatives, refined sugars, and chemical additives that are ever-present in chain-restaurant foods! The past several years, I've tried to make the switch to ORGANIC eating for my family, which isn't always easy....but, with these great & dependable recipes, I can feed my kids (and Hubby) the foods they like (and they can continue to think its junk food...when its really healthy and organic ingredients for the most part!) So EVERYBODY WINS!!! Granted, for the organic purists, you will have to make adjustments when recipes call for items that aren't health-conscious like "Bisquick" baking mix (which has partially hydrogenated crud in it!) but you can easily substitute your own organic baking mix or other items and still come up with Amazing Clones that your family will devour! I use organic evaporated cane sugar (available at Trader Joes & even Walmart!) for all my cooking/baking and it works excellent, it just needs a bit more time to dissolve in recipes and thats the only difference I've found! Thanks again, Todd...are you running out of food ideas yet?

Really interesting and useful
Bought this as a gift for our grandson who plans to go to a culinary institute in 2 years when he graduates high school. He is having such fun with the recipes and all of us in the family are amazed at how accurate the taste is to the "original"! Would recommend this book to anyone who likes to experiment in the kitchen.

Not as good as the other books
I expected more from this book. Most of the recipes were from restaurants that aren’t in my area or our family doesn’t frequent. Some of the recipes do look tasty so I’ll give them a try for party’s or special occasions

Best cookbook ever!
I've tried several recipes from this book and they have come out amazing and spot on! We are having a really good time recreating some of our restaurant favorites at home. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of these or gift them.

Woo-Hoo! :)
My fiance loves to go to restaurants, but he also loves to experiment with cooking new and exciting recipes. This was the perfect gift! We work on the cooking together and produce darn-near close to what we have tasted in restaurants before but with added fun and a lot less money. We can't wait to unveil some new stuff when everyone comes over for game night! Great purchase and totally fun.

Must-Have Cookbook!
I received a cookbook similar to this one about a year ago. My friends and family RAVED about the recipes -- it's as good as going to the restaurant! They raved so much, that I had to BUY this cookbook for friends, just to keep them from constantly borrowing MY book! Some recipes are more complex than others, but generally, the ingredients are readily available and the instructions are easy to follow. So far, our favorites are The Cheesecake Factory's Avocado Egg Rolls, Chilis Chicken Tortilla Soup, and PF Chang's Lettuce Wraps. So far, we haven't made a recipe yet that doesn't please.

First is better
The first book in this series is good, this follow up and the next issue is standard with black and white line drawings. Not quite so good in my opinion, would have been better to publish the same as the first.

OKAY IF YOUR NOT FROM ENGLAND
Saw this advertised on TV and ordered the books but when they came all the recipies I wanted to copy, have ingredients that you cannot get in the UK. Could find alternative I suppose but then it wouldn't taste like the original. Has been on my shelf in kitchen since I bought it as I don't use it at all

Fantastic Recipes
Awesome cookbook. LOVE it But I do wish that Todd Wilbur would take actual pictures of the food to put in the books rather then the diagrams...but I knew that before buying it :-) Fantastic recipes, I love his books.
