Roul'Pat Silicone Jumbo Baking Mat

This this the very largest mat (ROUL'PAT JUMBO 2387 23 X 31 ½ ) you can purchase and many of the professional demonstrators use it. I saw it being used in one of my Craftsy Classes. Artisan Bread in Minutes with Zoë François shows how she uses the same basic recipe and then make all types of breads, pizza, desserts, Nam, cinnamon rolls, french bread, etc. She uses the jumbo mat in all her demonstrations. You can go to Craftsy.com and see a sample of her video. If you have a large area to work, this is perfect. It does make bread making and desserts so much easier. After, the mat can be rolled up and stored until the next time you need it. I liked it because it is large enough to roll out the dough for cinnamon rolls without getting the flour and other ingredients all over. Made in France. Wonderful product.

It's perfect for my needs; I have a large kitchen island. Best thing is that it doesn't slip when you are rolling out or kneading dough. Remember not to cut on it. I use a cloth mat to cut. It does take a large sink to clean it as well but it is perfect for my purposes.

I bought this giant mat since we make pierogi every year and all the other mats we had before were too small. This giant mat is a game changer and I absolutely love it. It is giant and grips to the counter very well. Great for any dough/baking etc. very easy to clean. So worth the money.

I love its size. Plenty room to roll out dough without leaving a flour mess on the counters or table. Easy cleanup, stays in place while rolling out the dough. Perfect for me

I haven't used it yet but would like to share my unluckly experience.Very disappointed that I was sent a damaged Roul'Pat mat.I have found at the back side of the mat few patches bumpy surfaces & when I look very closely, I can see that around the few patches, surface are very thinly covered by silicone. I can even feel with my finger the fiberglass through the thinly sealed silicone.Due to health risk,there might be fiberglass exposure because of surface not properly sealed, I asked for replacment. I sent close-up photos regarding this Roul'Pat unacceptable condition & asked for a exchange but was given a refund instead of exchange.As my girlfriend has highly recommended this product to me, I have put in a new order. This time, not a Jumbo size, just an ordinary size, hoping that it will minimize the risk of getting an evenly coated mat again since it is not a huge one.I would also point out that I have same problem with the other Silpat that I have ordered. I find very fine cracked lines at the corner of the mat (the orange colour part) Amazon has sent replacement to me for this very quickly.I only take out 1 star for my bad (unlucky) experience receiving a damaged item. I still give 4 stars base on my girlfriend's highly recommendation & other feed back from Amazon.

A perfect size for rolling and working with large amounts of dough. One cannot cut on this, though, which would be a plus and is the reason for the 4 rather than 5 stars. I have a very large pasta board my mother used and which may be 100 years or older. It became dry during storage and has several gaps in the wood that make it unsuitable for rolling dough. The roul'pat lets me keep using the board.

For whatever reason, the previous owners of the house I just bought had tile installed on the counter tops with 1/2" grout lines. Not so good when you need to roll out dough. Since replacing the counter tops is not an option for me at this time, the mat was the perfect solution. My dough does not stick to it and clean up is a breeze. The mat arrived within 1 week of ordering. Very happy with this purchase.

The Roul Pat is an excellent addition for anyone working with limited kitchen space/not-ideal counters. I bought this when I moved into a new apartment with tile counters that prevented kneading of bread. I've used the Roul'Pat for pizza, sourdough, and pastry dough and overall it has greatly simplified cleaning and working in a smaller apartment. Like an ordinary counter it still requires a layer of flour to prevent dough from sticking, but not nearly as much as cheaper counter surfaces. The best part is that virtually any flat surface can be used for making bread; I can use my desk as a kitchen space which is excellent for multitasking in smaller apartments.
