Good quality oil pan, but watch the video on here!!
First, make sure you watch the video included with the pictures of this item. There's some real gems in there:“We forge your indestructible body by quality”“And purify honorary soul with details”“You have endowed fire and metal with unparalleled power”“You have returned the swirling and rising flame to its original place”“Make the containment of the starting point lubricated the explosion of the core”“When the speed is not rubbing with the road”“THE DESTINATION IS RIGHT BEHIND YOU”Also found it funny that the engine and car depicted in their little animation appears to be a Bugatti Veyron with a W16 which SURELY doesn't have a 4L60 in it. Also, the dude is just driving right down the middle of the road? This is all worth a good chuckle. The actual review:GM in their infinite wisdom didn't see fit to include a drain plug in the OEM pan on the 4L65 in my 2004 GMC Sierra..... This makes draining the fluid and/or removing the pan a disaster of a mess. When you're doing this on your back on the ground, it's hard not to spill trans fluid everywhere with the stock pan which has no drain plug!!!This pan seems to meet or exceed the quality of the OEM pan it replaced. Plus it has a drain plug which is a must have. I had to manipulate the exhaust and bend the shift cable bracket out of the way in order to remove the old pan and install the new one. It is a hassle but it can be done.Make sure you use the right filter with this particular pan:GM Genuine Parts 24208576 Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter Kit with Gasket and SealAlso need to add a magnet to this pan as it doesn't have one:GM Genuine Parts 29535617 Automatic Transmission Fluid Pan Magnet

Silverado Transmission Fluid Pan kit 07-14
1st of all Thanks to the buyer that wrote about the Filter not fitting ! It doesn't - I ended up using my old one since I still need to get the rest of the fluid changed later.Solenoids fit & work Well !! Thats a plusThe Gasket that came with the kit fit awesome !!The PAN it self fit excellent !Prepare for a lot of fluid spill as the factory pan does not have a drain bolt ! - I was not planning on using it again & just drilled a 1/8inch hole towards the front & let it drain out most of it.Remove the shifter cable , bend the holder bracket out the way enough or remove it if you want to . Remove the cover on the passenger side (2) 10mm bolts - remove all the bolts , leave 2 bolts on - (1) in front of the pan & (1) in the rear . Slowly loosen them till you got the pan leaning towards the front & least it drain out some more.I didn't need to do anything with my exhaust - as I seen in a bunch of videos .

DOES NOT FIT ALL GM's that it says it does!
This trasmission pan with drain plug DOES NOT FIT 1999 Chevy Astro Van 4.3L V6 Automatic, even though it is listed as correct, the indent in the corner of this pan is NOT THE SAME AS ORIGINAL and will hit the transmission filter and/or dipstick tube and cannot be installed. I reinstalled the factory pan and returned this one. If not for that major flaw it would have been great.

Fits 2003 GMC Safari
There were enough reviews saying fitment trouble on different GM makes and model that I thought I would add my review. I made sure to test fit the pan. First a dry fit with the filter still out and no gasket to see if the indented corner hit the dipstick bracket. Then a dry fit with the new filter in place and everything still looked good. The van is new to me so I wasn't sure what to expect. The complaints about this pan were so concerning I even removed the drain plug as soon as it was delivered. I had to buy more crush washers since i had to test if it was cross threaded or the welds would break. Lucky for me this pan fits. Rebuilding the valve body will be a bit easier next time.

Heavy guage
Seems well made, don't know how it will handle heat. This unit did not fit my vehicle, there is one corner of this unit that is indented where the dip stick terminates, that indentation did not allow this unit to set. Had to remove and use the old one. I returned to the seller and received a full refund.

Wow!
I'm rebuilding my 4l60e in my 06' Suburban 4×4. This pan is waaay heavier gauge than I expected. I read reviews before l buy stuff, like most, & one dude said it was cheap lightweight tin. This thing is Not lightweight. Matter fact, it's heavier duty than my original. No joke. I grabbed the package, & almost dropped it. Because l didn't expect it to be quite so heavy duty, hahaha. Wow kudos to the manufacture workmanship, & Amazon for getting this to me pronto. I'd advise anyone to buy this. I need the drain plug specifically to drain my fluid after break-in. No gasket or magnet included. But, So What? Just buy a filter/gasket kit, you'll need one if you jerk your old pan, anyway. Abuh duh. I love this thing.
