Great fabric!
This fabric was perfect for the topper my husband made for my ironing board. The board is rectangular to make ironing quilting fabric much easier. We used plywood, batting and then the silver fabric. It works perfectly!

I made two iron carrying cases to bring irons that haven’t cooled either to or from sewining retreat. You can also iron on them.

Not great - not durable, sheds silver bits.
This material unfortunately sheds little flakes of its silver coating which is a big problem for my purposes (pressing table cover). These flakes can even make their way through a material when placed on top of it, so I really do not recommend. I've used thermal fabric on pressing tables for years and haven't had this issue so I'll be looking elsewhere.
