Stormy Kromer Original Kromer Cap - Winter Hat for Men & Women, Baseball Hat with Ear Flaps

My husband has always wanted a Stormy Kromer hat so, I decided, for his birthday I would get him one. He was very happy and it fit him well. Follow the instructions that they give you for measuring around your head. The hat is well constructed and should be nice and warm for him this coming winter in Michigan.

What else can I say it's a Stormy Kromer! This is my 5th Stormy Kromer, super warm and comfortable. Stormy Kromer usually runs small, so I ordered two sizes up. Once you get the size right, you'll want another. Great product

I bought my first Stormer Kromer hat 9 years ago in a Michigan store while on hiking trip. That hat was perfect and has enjoyed very heavy and enjoyable use before starting to show wear; no complaints. The new hat is a beautiful replacement. Stormy Kromer has an excellent reputation so I was surprised when I compared the new hat to the old. Appearance and quality of assembly is excellent, but the fabric is definetely thinner than my original. That first hat is a different color but the same model. These are wonderful products and I will still enjoy the new hat, but I had different expectations based on my older purchase. Does Stormy Kromer sell a different line of hats through Amazon than what can be purchased directly from the company?

Husband loves his hat! The fit is just right - measuring instructions were right on. Material is warm but light, extremely well-made! The slide down feature of the ear band is very handy!

EDIT January 2022: See below. In the end 7½ proved too snug and unstretchable. I donated it to charity and ordered 7⅝ which fits nicely and is slightly loose, but just doing up the lace at the front of a little tighter has given me a perfect fit. It's been very warm and practical.I debated which size to buy. My head is pretty much 59cm and I went for the 7½ thinking if it was slightly roomy I could gently steam it. It's definitely snug. Any tighter and it would be uncomfortable. It's probably going to be an advantage in a cold wind because there's no way any draught is going to get inside.It's very well made and definitely a quality piece of kit. Value for money indeed.If you're ordering from the UK I would definitely err on the large side.

Exactly what I wanted. High quality old school outdoors men hat, keeps me warm and the fit is nice and I get a lot of compliments from people who know about stormy krommer and the reputation they have. Be sure to get the right size as they won’t stretch witch is a good thing perfect fit every time!!!
