Great locator
Have used and got location on roosting turkey. Loud when you need it and right sound.

Sounds Good
Compared to the other styles like this call, I think this one sounds the best. With that being said, it does take a little practice to get the right gobble with 2 hands. Can't wait to try it out hunting. I would recommend it.

Not impressed
Wasn't impressed at all, can make it gobble, but way to much movement involved. Movement isn't really a good thing when turkey hunting.

Not only a locator call works well for hung up birds.
Bought this call to use for when a bird is just over hill or hung up out of sight but won’t close the distance because he wants hen to come to him.3 hunts later I got to use call for what I thought it would work for. Had 2 toms gobbling there heads off, every time I would yelp, about 150 yards away on next Sendero over. I tried everything I know to do all but pick up and move closer.I Made hen yelp and before they could gobble I cut them off with this Jake gobble. Did this two times about 3 min apart then I shut up and waited, 10 min later here they come white heads looking to fight. I got the first one with my bow he went about 6 feet and fell over.Long story short it’s a cheap call add it to your bag of tricks it can’t hurt and may just pay off like it did for me.

easy jake call BUT HAS NO STOPPER
this is a very easy jake shaker call. very loud realistic high pitch gobble of a young jake ONLY PROBLEM IS IT HAS NO STOPPER! for silent movement

Sounds good, relatively simple to use, inexpensive
First impressions: use both hands. The single handed method is not easy to master and it doesn’t produce the correct sound. I have found it best to hold the top still and push the bottom up and down. It sounds pretty realistic and the tiny bit off is not something an enraged gobbler is going to notice when he’s coming to kick butt. The only downside I have found is that it’s hard to not make unintended noises with the call at the end of a sequence. I’m sure with more practice I can figure out a way to remedy this. For me, this call is easier to use than putting a rubber band over a box call to use that for gobbles.I haven’t used this during a hunt yet but as far as I can tell this is a great tool to have. I will update my review if I find that to not be the case after using it in the field.

Not what I expected.
The turkeys will only hear it if they are standing next to me.

easy to use good sound
Its not identical. but in my experience the cadence and volume are more important than tone. I feel like it approximates a gobble very well. I will virtually never use it. But there has been a select few times I wish I had one in the vest. Amazon has it at a great price.

Realistic sound
Nice and load. Sounds better and more realistic using the one hand method. Good for locating early morning.
