The tomatoes have a good deep red color, good firmness and good eating quality. Smooth, deep globe-shaped fruit produced on compact determinate plants that respond well to higher fertilizer maintenance and to hormone-induced fruit setting. Resistance to Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt (1,2), Tomato Mosaic Virus and intermediate resistance to Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus. Note: Crown set can have a pronounced, pointed blossom end. This has not been a concern for growers that have grown Primo Red.
