Trainers, prepare for Gen 6!
The sixth generation of Pokemon is upon us, and with a new generation comes a brand new set of Pokemon to discover! This is the Elite Trainer Box: Yveltal design, and it is the first trainer box of its kind for the sixth generation of Pokemon. Inside this box includes:-8 10 card Pokemon Trading Card Game X & Y Booster Packs-63 Pokemon Trading Card Game Card Protector Sleeves (with a Yveltal design on the back)-45 Pokemon Trading Card Game Energy Cards (5 cards for every type including the new Fairy type)-4 Cardboard Card Dividers (with a Yveltal Design)-1 Pokemon Trading Card Game Guidebook (basically introduces you to the 6th generation of the Pokemon Trading Card Game)-6 Damage Counter Dice-1 Coin Flip Die-2 Condition Tokens-1 Yveltal Design Card BoxHere's my individual reviews for every part that's within the X & Y Elite Trainer Box: Yveltal Design8 Pokemon X & Y 10 Card Booster PacksThese cards are the first edition of the Generation six Pokemon Trading Card Game. They total up to 80 cards all together. Inside these packs include various cards featuring most of the Kalos region exclusive Pokemon. Additionally, as a possible find in each of these card packs are the returning EX cards. But additionally, new to the Pokemon world and the most powerful cards ever to be introduced to the Pokemon Trading Card Game are the rare Mega Evolution EX Pokemon. In the X & Y Edition of the Pokemon Trading Card Game booster packs, the two new Mega Evolution EX Pokemon are Mega Blastoise EX and Mega Venusaur EX. Both of these come in two rare card designs, including one of each with a full face, holographic, design. But don't get me wrong, there's plenty of other rare ex pokemon cards in these packs too! No sixth generation first edition Pokemon Trading Card Game Booster Pack lineup would be complete without the legendary Pokemon of the Kalos region itself! As a possible grab for this set, Xerneas and Yveltal both make EX appearances in this edition's lineup. Additionally, just like the two Mega Evolution EX cards, there are also two full faced, holographic, card designs for each legendary Pokemon.Additionally, Emolga and Skarmory make EX appearances in the X & Y first edition Booster Card Packs and just like their other EX counterparts, they too come in a full faced, holographic, card designs in these packs! Personally, I drew a Mega Blastoise EX card and I couldn't be more than happy to have drawn this rare gem!63 Pokemon Trading Card Game Protector SleevesThese protector sleeves are simply one of the best selling points of this product. Made with an exclusive, very epic looking, Yveltal design on the back, these card protector sleeves are simply a collectors item within itself and would make any Pokefan overjoyed to have these. The fact that there's 63 of them makes it possible to have a full, 60 card deck, decked out with these awesome card protectors. I've heard from numerous of people within the Pokemon fan community talk about how awesome these are and how they'd wish that The Pokemon Company would just come out with these for sale separate from the Elite Trainer Box. That is how amazing these card protector sleeves are.45 Pokemon Trading Card Game Energy CardsThis is a very nice addition to the Elite Trainer Box because it's very hard to find a massive amount of energy cards anywhere. Personally, when I was a kid, the typical way one had to obtain energy cards was to buy a trainer box filled with other useless cards most people would pass up on, and spend about $25 for it too. With these energy cards being included in this Elite Trainer Box, this makes reason to buy it. If getting this much energy cards was included with so many valuable cards too, I would guarantee I'd buy this, and of course I did. Plus the fact that they include 5 cards of the new Fairy type energy cards make this an even better deal. With 45 total energy cards, that enables you to own 5 cards of each and every energy type in the Pokemon Trading Card Game!4 Cardboard Card Dividers and 1 Yveltal Design Card BoxThese two inclusions of the Elite Trainer Box are an awesome edition. The Yveltal Design Card Box is very nice and is a neat way to store all your rare pokemon cards in one single place. The cardboard dividers allow you to divide up your cards in any way you'd want inside of the card box. These two are made of very durable, hard cardboard, which is bound to last you a very long while, and even be able to withstand a gnawing from a baby brother too. Plus both of these have a very awesome looking Yveltal artwork design on them, which fits the theme of the Elite Trainer Box: Yveltal Design pretty nicely.6 Damage Counter Dice, 1 Coin Flip Die, & 2 Condition TokensOf course, nobody can play the game without having these essential playing tools alongside you! It's a very nice addition to the box to have all these accessories to the product, and it enables one to catch up to the modern version of the Trading Card Game fast. Having these will enable one to be competition ready with even the oldest of cards!Things have changed a whole lot since I received my first Pokemon Trading Card, and I would agree it is for the better. I got my first Pokemon Trading Card when I was 5, and I even had them all collected inside one of the nowadays, very famous, red colored with a Pikachu Pokemon Trading Card Collector's Book. I had a good collection, until I lost all of them during the move to my current house. Eventually, I decided to get back into the games when the Advanced Generation came along, and I got myself a Trainer Deck until I somehow lost that too. So here I was again, with Generation 6 being just newly released, and finding a renewal in my love for the Pokemon Trading Card Game. So, I stumbled upon this, and made a purchase, and I couldn't have been more than happy with what I've got.I gave this product a 5/5 stars for its price, value, and quality, which is something I would expect in all the products I buy.I happen to be a youtuber and decided to create a box opening of this product. If you want, and can bear watching a horrible quality video (it was my first time doing a box opening!), you can follow the link after this to watch it.[...]

-LOVE- the Elite Trainer Boxes
The Elite Trainer boxes have been around for a few series now and I absolutely adore them. They include:-8 Booster packs (retail price: $32)-45 energy cards (INCLUDING the new Fairy energy, which makes life much easier if you're trying to build a new X&Y deck with some Fairy type)-Acrylic coins/markers/dice (which are great for playing the TCG at home, far better than cheap pop-out cardboard ones)-Soft Card Sleeves (the sleeves feature yveltal/xerneas on one side, and are clear on the other)-Cardboard 'dividers' for organizing cards (meh)-rule/guidleine book for Pokemon TCGEverything is held in a sturdy collectible box that seems to be made of thick cardboard and covered in some type of canvas material. The canvas material is embossed with a gold yveltal. It feels very high-quality and sturdy, I use it to hold on to some of my cards and display on a shelf.Overall this is a great value for collectors and players, though if collecting the cards is your only goal buying separate boosters/singles is cheaper (collectors have no reason to get a ton of energies or most of the other goodies really). Highly recommended. As an aside, these boxes retail for $40 in-store (at places like Target or Toys R Us if you can find them)- so the value on Amazon is good as well.

Cheap dice / counters
This is a pretty good deal because it includes a bunch of booster packs, acrylic poison & burn indicators, enough card sleeves for a full deck, and a pretty nice card box. But the "coin flip" die and damage counters are super cheaply made. The damage counters in particular are tiny, probably 10mm across or less. 6 damage counters are barely adequate when you're also loaning them to your opponent (always), and they don't have nearly enough size or weight to prevent accidental rolling. They're adequate, but don't come close to qualifying as "elite." If the dice pack is a big attraction for you, you'll be disappointed.

Nice Kit
Awesome kit for starters. I've been playing Pokemon games for years and have decided to buy this to start my TCG run. Arrived today, got pretty nice pulls overall, A shiny Venusaur EX, a couple of rare hollows, 3 reverse hollows and some reverse hollow uncommons. Overall pretty awesome kit. 5 stars.

Son Happy
I liked this item a lot, packing and shipping was great . I would buy from this seller again. There was 1 EX, a couple Stage 2's, and a several stage 1's. Lots of energy cards, including metal and fairy. No dragon. Overall, my son was very happy and wants to get the other boxes.

Box opened and resealed before being shipped.
There were obvious signs that the elite trainer box had been opened and resealed. The energy cards were just thrown in there and were dirty, as were the status counters. In addition, there was five dividers instead of the usual four. This is very shady and I recommend that no one buys this.

Great item fro a new player includes booster packs
Everything included as exspected. Great item fro a new player includes booster packs, dice, card sleeves, and a nice box to keep everything in. The value in purchasing this is for the booster packs but the reason you should buy this is for the dice and card sleeves.
