Compete and beat the best of them
this is an amazing product i bought 1 of them and put it in my truck sounds great preforms great its an extremely well crafted product.tougher than a brick. this sub really moves alot with nice tight bass. i would strongly recommend a break in period with this sub because when i got this product you could barely move it when you push on it. it also sounds better after a break in. my friend also bought 2 12" models of this pioneer sub and wow rockford should watch out, even kicker should be worried. everything on his 96 4 runner rattles and vibrates like crazy but most of it you cant hear because the subs drown out the sound. and they are even a little bit under powered. believe it or not it also has great sound quality.

Not bad for a 10 inch.
Bought this a few months ago, It does well for a 10 inch woofer. Bought it due to space issues in the trunk from a previous vehicle and have it in a fairly small box. It's capable of handling my kenwood 1200 watt amp bridged by itself but with the bass turned up all the way I have noticed that it distorted bad in low frequencies. Almost to the point to where it sounded like it was going to blow. Wasn't sure if it was the sub itself or the amp. But with the bass turned down to normal it's perfectly fine. It's not window shattering loud in my 300zx, but it provides just enough bass to equal out the treble in the car. I am sure if I went with the 12 inch pioneer series it would do much better with lower frequencies and probably boom a bit more, but for the space I had to begin with, this subwoofer was perfect.

Pioneers just pound
Love these speakers 100 percent happy with these subs. I have them in a ported custom box and they cause serious sonic havoc. I have set car alarms off with these. I had to turn down my amps output (1600 watt) to about half just so my mirrors don't shake so much that you cant see out of them. Plus the cost from amazon is less than half of that offered by others. I have priced around before purchasing and seen them for $250. Thanks to amazon i got some bang for my buck.

Over excursion, horrible sound, NOT 800 w RMS!!!
I bought two of these and even wired at max. ohms, pulling the least amount of power from the amp as possible AND subsonic at max, they still over-excurted horribly and sounded terrible. I was not happy with these at all. I had them for about a week till I decided to get rid of them on Craigslist. I replaced both of these with ONE XTRPRO104 by Orion that I've had for three years now and love. I gave an extra star only because these would probably do pretty well under (a lot) less wattage than they're rated for, these CAN NOT handle 800 w RMS as they claim.

little champ that could
i have a alpine swr 12d2 subwoofer in one of my cars and its slams i wanted a sub for my wifes car but ran low on cash so i took a risk with this little champ and boy does it sound awesome almost as good as the 12d2 i have a 10" r/t ported box made for alpine subs but pairs well with this sub it holds the 1000 watt rms and produces clean crisp bass

Ridiculous!
I bought one of these subs a few months ago, hooked it up in Feburary of this year and it was hitting hard. I bought another one a few days ago and paired it with the one I bought last year, hooked up into a dual Ported box and man do they BANG!! My whole trunk, car interior and floor rattle's like nobody's business! I don't regret buying this sub, if you decide to get this sub get two, you won't regret it!- UPDATE -I bought a _R/T 300 Enclosure Series (328-10 JBL) - Dual 10" Slot Vented Sub Bass Hatchback Speaker Box with Labyrinth Power Port for JBL Subs_ To go with the the two Pioneer TS-W2502D4 Subs and man its riduclous!! I'm Setting off alrams from left to right!Note: The Subs will fit slightly tight in the box, nothing a couple of screws can't handle! If you get these Speakers get the R/T 300 Enclosure Series (328-10 JBL). Although it's meant for JBL, it's alsor perfect for these Pioneers! I'll post A video and pics as soon as possible.

Nice!
Good Bass, It was exactly what I expected and arrived quickly. I would recommend this product. I would also take note of the size of the sub, it was a few inches to big for my box but I made it work.

i am in love
Pioneer you cant go wrong enough said lol i am pushing 2 of these bad boys with a BOSS 3K W mono amp (Armor) at 4ohm pushing 800W RMS which is the ideal ratring for these subs currently in an old school ported box that my 500W MTX 10's came in the box is only .97 cu in / chamber these babies have split the box currently have on order a vented box 1.69 cu in / chamber i will let yall know how that sounds as the subs suggest an optimal space of .75 cu in. keep in mind there is always a breaking in period for any sub these took about 2 weeks for the burnt smell to go away once it did i cracked up the gain and the boost now i need a neww box lol
