Have vents in camper older vents not as deep as newer vents fits better in deeper vents but don’t stay up without tape or Velcro straps and they do not block light but do help with cold air coming in if taped up

I was desperate for these vent pillows and despite the few negative ratings I decided to go ahead and take a chance anyway.First of all, they are thinner than the ones you get at Camping World but, they do the job. My space heater was only able to raise the temperature inside my camper to 20 degrees warmer than the outside temperature. I carefully monitored temperatures for about two months...This morning the temperature inside my camper was 60 degrees and the outside temperature is 32 degrees. So, I have an 8 degree gain in heat.I have an older 1994 Prowler 5th wheel that is 29 feet and I needed vent pillows for the kitchen and bathroom. So... perhaps I may have gained another degree or so by buying super thick ones from Camping World but, with shipping included I would have paid $12 more total than what I paid for these two pillows.I'm looking for price, quality and ability to do the job and these did all three. I would recommend these pillows... don't be afraid ... they are good pillows. Did I mention that I'm on a severely limitedsocial security retirement income?

The square fits perfectly in the roof opening. I wanted one that blocked the light also, so I put a sheet of foil on the top side and pushed the "pillow" in and it works great! Now I have warmth and light block.

So far so good! I truly feel this is making a bit of a difference in how warm our RV is staying. I bought two, one for above the bunk cab vent and one for the back bedroom (forgetting there's a vent in the bathroom as well) so I will be buying one more. We are living in our almost 20 year old RV full time and temps have gotten down to 34° so far. I would definitely recommend this to someone RVing in a cooler climate. Well worth the $14! Staying warm in a RV is hard enough do yourself a favor and just buy it!

We bought this for use in our travel trailer. We have traveled extensively (more than 9000 miles) in the trailer this year and this vent pillow made a big difference. It is amazing how much it helps to insulate, both from hot sun and from cold. We use it in the roof vent over our bed and the insulating quality is very noticeable. It blocks about 75% of the light, not all of it. When we need it totally dark, we just slip a sheet of aluminum foil inside the cushion. The cushion stayed in place over all types of roads and in all types of weather. It is not quite as big as the ones sold in camping stores, but does the job quite well. I would it again if I had the need.

Looks and feels like a quality product. My vents are 13 1/2" opening. Item is 14" and yet it still slides out of the vent. It's not wide enough I put a couple of small strips of velcro and they stay attached now. Still believe item is still worth the price.

Works great so far hoping it will continue to help out when -0 weather comes in...

I bought the used one so it's good value for the price and not actually even used. There's no indication of use at all, just damaged packaging that doesn't affect it at all. I'm happy with my purchase!
