Genmitsu 10Pcs Nano Blue Coat Engraving Bits, 30 Degree 0.1mm Tip 1/8" Shank Conical V-Bit

Overall I'm impressed with these bits. The value far exceeds by expectations. Based on some other reviews, I was expecting sub-par performance from these bits. However, after 3 jobs I see great results and will continue using them. 10 bits at this price is a tremendous value. Update: After some additional time with these bits, I've noticed that they have an issue with clearing chips while cutting hardwood in particular. When cutting a 5mm deep v-channel in maple, the resulting channel is hard packed with dust/chips. Adding an additional finishing pass helps marginally, but there is still lots of manual work to clean out all the chips from the cut. I still recommend these bits since they are great for the price, but know that more cleanup work than expected may be needed when cutting some materials.

These little 30 degree bits are great I use them on hardwood like Purple Heart and African Padauk that is very hard and the engraving that I do takes 3 to 4 hours they stay sharp and make a very clean cut. You will absolutely love what they do and the money you save is crazy. Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews I’ve been doing woodworking for 35+ years and have tried them all I’m very happy with the performance of these bits.

Good bits for the cost, they don't last as long as some of the other more expensive bits. If you're new to CNC work these have been a great starter set for me. They cut well overall and are easy to use in CNC or regular router situations. Only drawback so far is they do dull pretty quickly, get about 5 longer carves per bit.

They are really good. Precise and sharp. Both PCB-s are milled using those bits. Tracks are 0.2mm and 0.3mm. Milled on regular Genmitsu 3018-PRO with upgraded Z-Axis Support is very helpful!

I use these for engraving circuit boards and for text into wood crafts. Very sharp, consistent and hold up well.

Tip width varys, Runout way to wide on some bits makes .1mm a useless spec. I had 1 good bit, several others were very obviously ground wrong and had a much wider than .1mm tip. of the 3 i tried that looked good, 2 had so much run out that they cut a path several times wider than expected destroying the PCB. This has been days wasted before i figured out it was the bits that are defective and inconsistent.

I've used these on pine, mahogany, brass and slate. With careful attention to feeds, depths and speeds, I've had excellent results every time. Hobbyist CNC with a Genmitsu 4040 Pro MAX and Inventables Easel.
