Knight and Hale Tom Coffin Turkey Call (Push/Pull Call)

This a very simple and easy to use call. It comes with chalk so you can put more on the scraper. When you first get your call it will have a decent amount of calk on the scraper and will take some breaking in before it starts to sound really nice. There is a small black screw on the bottom allowing you to change the pitch and volume. Once the call is broken in I used it to harvest my first turkey. Called him in from 150-200 yards away with no decoys across a field. Great call for the beginner.

I absolutely love this turkey call. I can change the pitch so I can imitate a hen or tom. It's hands free because it can attach to the barrel of a gun. The sound is real. I walked into church one morning, making sounds with it. It sounded so real that my pastor told me that I wasn't allowed to use it because he thought it was electronic at first.

Relatively low quality. It doesn't have a great sound, but is good to have as a backup. It has a lever that moves the wood parts off one another so that it can be silenced until it is ready to use, which is a plus. As long as your longbeards don't require really close hen imitations it should do just fine and it is easy to use without much movement. Probably would have some other calls in the arsenal, but it has gotten a number of roost gobbles

This is a typically great K&H push/pull, they wrote the book on these calls, as far as I'm concerned. Super easy, great for beginners, but I still use 'em, too. I like the design, the lock is very nice, can't see much need for the volume control. But I support Mr. Knight and Mr. Hale, they've built a fine company and have produced products that have helped thousands of hunters.

Truly like this call. Its nice and compact. Careful where you put it though, the center comes out when it gets bumped around. No big deal it goes right back in but can be broken if not careful.

This is by far the best type of push call that I have used. It is so easy to use and being able to change the sounds from a young hen to an older bird is a great idea. Pushing the slide makes a different sound then pulling the slide, which adds another neat feature. It has become one of my favorite calls this past spring in the PA woods.

It's ok for working with one hand. It doesn't sound as good as a slate call
