First buy from Sebago. Got hooked!
This model seems to be discontinued, hence the huge discount price at the time. So I snatched my first pair from Sebago. Didn't really know what to expect. To my surprise, the shoes don't need breaking in like most boat shoes do. Since their top insole layer is made of rubber that absorb heat/cold well. Feel super comfortable for long hours, standing jobs.I wear these Grinder to work daily, 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. My Fitbit says I walk from 12k-17k/day on these boat shoes. They are really slip resistant since I work with water and powder a lot. Powder on tile floors is just no bueno. But these guys hold up while a lot of people have been slipping and landing on their behind by accident. The shoes are half-a-size bigger. It'll show when you break in the shoes for a few months. Word of advice, order half a size smaller. I put some thick heel pads for filler to improve fit and they help a bunch. After a year and a half the left side stitching came off a bit, sadly. I still wear them but it doesn't look that aesthetic to me. But that's a lot of walking considering. Great buy. I'd recommend!

Great Shoe For The Money - Especially When Discounted
I received these Sebago Grinders this morning. They're nicely made and visually appealing. The fact that this Amazon merchant wasselling them for about 75% off the MSRP did not hurt either.Highly recommended!

Rugged comfort!
I had another pair of "two eyelet" Sebago boat shoes that I've pretty much worn out....never had that much luck with Sperry shoes. I have another pair of "three eyelet" Sebago shoes that I save for "dressing up". Sebagos run a little on the wide side, which is great not having to order a wide size! I think as I've aged, my feet have spread the same as my belly!

Could be perfect
Worn these for years, still good does except for one thing - the insoles wear out away to fast. Boat shoes were meant to be worn without socks. The running shoe style insoles don't hold up to bare feet. Bring back the leather topped insole! Otherwise the shoes are still great, they hold up, they won't mark decks and they're good on wet surfaces.

Nice shoe, good quality
Nice shoe, good quality... They can make a squishy sound when you walk, but besides that they are great. The color has a reddish hue to it so I think they look a little worried sometimes. I purchased another pair of shoes in a different style, they didn't fit at all. These guys fit fine!

Great shoes. Lasts awhile.
Soooo many years later, these shoes are still going strong. Great shoe. I had to put insoles in them after a while cause they are a bit wider than expected but other than that I love these shoes.
