This video has helped our late talker!!!
I have a 4 year old son with autism, who has always loved the entire Baby BumbleBee series. They have really helped him to be able to generalize his vocabulary and expand his concepts.....like when he sees that there is such a thing as picture of a lion, and a toy lion, and a real lion.I also have a sweet 2 year old girl who has only recently started talking. We of course were concerned, but she has really blossomed, especially in regards to this video! She and her brother will sit there together, and when they show a letter, they both will SHOUT it out at the same time. They also will repeat the sound the letters make along with the kids on the video. The video shows a variety of words that start with a letter(which both kids love announcing too!), then shows a little girl writing the letter. I keep foam letters in the bathtub, and now when my daughter gets her bath, she is so excited to pick up the letters and name them on her own.All of these Baby Bumblebee videos have helped my kids with object labels which in turn has helped them improve their receptive language.

Great Educational Video
I checked this DVD out at the library before purchasing it since there are so many choices out there. I was surprised to see my 22 month old so interested in this...(I would've thought he'd be bored since there are no cartoon characters but instead he was focusing and enjoying the video). He repeats the letters and words just like the children in the video. This is a very educational video and somehow interesting to my son. The video shows different children sounding out letters and then multiple words that begin with that letter (along with pictures of the words), going through the entire alphabet. I would highly recommend this video.

Love It
I have bought this DVD for my son and he and I both loves it. I started using it for him when he was 2 and half years old and now he is 6 years old and we still love it. I love the way they make the interaction with letters and the music. Overall, it is it a great DVD for teaching your children the alphabet.

must be for older kids
Bumble bee kids makes a series of 5 dvd's that are done very well, and geared for the 6month-2 year old. My 6 month old has watched some of them every day and never gets tired of them. I bought this aphabet video by bumble bee kids for him when he was 19 months, and the kids in the video do not speak clearly, and sometimes whisper the words. My son asked me to turn it off by the time we were at the letter "H". They should use the little girl who does the singing in their body parts video. She has personality, and can speak clearly, and babies love her. This video is going to the goodwill I am afraid. The kids speak with lisps in this video.

Poor quality
It is a great idea for a DVD, but the quality of the video was not good at all. My 14 month old was bored and wants me to change the DVD every time I try to put it in. He is much more interested in Baby Einstein.

Encourages children
This moderately entertaining dvd features kids only and has encouraged my 5 year old daughter to want write her uppercase alphabet. We have a big library of education dvds and this one adds diversity and is quite educational.
