Color coat pen was not thinned enough
Color was pretty close but little dark but what really bothered me was how thick the paint was i couldnt get the ball to hardly move when shaking it so i had to add a little thinner before it would work properly clear coat was ok but nomatter what it seemed to want to wipe the basecoat off nomater how long u allow it to dry but i made it work and cant really tell i fixed it besides the color being darker witch is probably the age of the original paint that faded

Not the quality I had expected
For a product that costs more than the ones you find in your local auto parts stores, I was quite disappointed when the coverage and application process was far inferior to the brushable touch up paint I typically purchase. The paint did not cover well at all and so far, I have put three coats on a primed surface and it still shows the primer.

Great for small home projects!
The dealership mounted my front plate with big rivets and the plate was off center (oh, my OCD). I filled the holes and used this product to repaint the repaired area. Color match is good and there was plenty of product left over after my project to color match the faceplate on my Accessport. Towards the end, the spray pattern started to produce little drops. Keep the cap cleaned and this should solve that problem. Also helps to turn the can upside down after use and spray it out a little to clear the cap.

Good color, bad can
The good: The paint matched my tuxedo black 2013 f150 perfectly. Or at least close enough that I can’t tell. I was using it to color match my grille. The clear worked perfectly also.The bad: the paint can got stuck when I started painting the grill after testing it first so I had to shoot the whole thing without stopping. And I still didn’t quite have enough to get in all the corners good.Be careful, and to the seller, change the can or at least the nozzle used for the paint! The clear went perfectly but my paint was mostly wasted in a matter of minutes!

Worked as advertised
Purchased the aerosol cans. Was enough product to four fender flares with 3 coats paint and 3 coats clear. Color matched perfect after compounding, polishing and waxing. Follow the instructions for time to wait before wet sanding, compounding/polishing and you'll have a perfect paint job. Prep your work appropriately and you will have no issues.

Excellent paint
I used this paint system as part of some rust repair work in my truck. Worked perfectly and the color match was spot on. Went on smooth and easy with great results.

Find a different brand if possible
Color was very accurate, but the paint never fully dried. Even after waiting multiple days the paint wouldn't dry and kept getting smeared on the clear coat pen tip. This applicator is also much inferior to other ones I've used in the past. I will be looking for a different brand in the future.

The perfect ford grille color.
This product was right on. The perfect color. If you put it on as directed. This paint is very tough. It also looks good.
