works very well with my AMD Ryzen 5 3600. i dont do overclocking so this board is perfect. it comes with a m.2 slot which comes in handy. Came with ryzen 3000 series out of the box which is amazing considering the price I purchased this board for. Comes with 4 SATA III ports but the downsides of this board is that the chassis fan headers are somewhat poorly placed. There is no sort of RGB header, which I can expect. Also just to point out, when installing components like the RAM and CPU, the board makes a slightly disturbing but very subtle cracking sound.On the plus side, if your looking for a budget gaming board or any sort of CPU testing board, this is probably a deal.

Great motherboard, easy to find connection points. No fiddly ports however a lack of fan ports.

Eventually really happy with this board, after a lot of trouble initially getting it working. This was due to me trying to use an APU and RAM combination that was not supported, so my fault. So I had to use an older CPU for my build instead.Use case is for a home NAS (Fractal design node 506 case), Proxmox hosting a Truenas server and several dockers. Specs : Ryzen 1600, two sticks of ECC Kingston Hynix 2666 16GB RAM, PCI-e x8 16GB HBA in IT mode and an ASUS GeForce 710 (PCI-E x 1), 8x 8TB SAS disks, two SSD sata disks for zfs mirrored boot volume. This works perfectly for my home.My only wish is it had another PCI-E x16 slot, but at this price, you can't complain. I'm just a little hamstrung for future upgrades as I would have loved to get another NIC in it.It is a little on the flimsy side, but I've had no problems with it physically

Used this for my first ever build thanks to some great reviews on youtube, good compatibility, Bios was updated to ver 3.9 so didn't have to update it before installing my Ryzen 5 3500x.For compatibilty check the ASRock website, great exhaustive list of usable components and which version of Bios neededBit of a no frills board, minimal connections but should be fine for any standard build.No integrated RGB controls if you want that from your Motherboard as I said it's bare bones offering, just giving you the essentials

Item came undamaged and packed well. Be awarie IT is a Simple motherboard with no whistles even suche as vrm heatsink. I just needed IT for resurecting my old 5yo pc with R5 2600 and RTX 2060S. Which IT did.

Working with Ryzen 5 3400G 16gb Corsair 3200 out of the box. Cheapest B450 board I could find. Bios version 3.7 no need to update for my chosen processor. Usb ports on the stiff side otherwise good little board. Not using additional graphics and not used for oc but option to do both if required. Memory will only work at 2933 MHz and that has to be selected in the bios. This is the limit of the processor I believe otherwise excellent budget board.

I purchased this motherboard because it is/was the cheapest B450 motherboard on Amazon at the time.I was wanting it for a slimline pc build.Paired with 16Gb of DDR4 3000 ram and a Ryzen 3200g the board works great.Mine even came with the latest bios supporting the newer 3100 cpu's.You even get an m.2 slot which you don't get on many A320 motherboards at the same price.Overall a good budget motherboard to get you started on a budget.Recommended !!!!!!
