Super Practical if you're not super picky. Never trade up again!
Yes, I know it's expensive--but it's a lot cheaper than selling your iOS equipment to buy one with more memory. And unlike the newest Androids, you can access all of the external memory and even move many things into and out of it, even some DRM stuff, as long as they are not programs.I use it with my MacBook Pro, iPad and IPhone, The hardest aspect is realizing and accepting that Apple has locked some things down (note Android KitKat up has more restrictions now, unless you jailbreak it, and for me I have only 3GB free memory). So there is no getting away from some inconvenience. The biggest one involves using DRM copy protected videos (some older music is also DRM). Note that some people make a big deal about this. Unless you want to move Movies around, it's not as big a deal as some say. You can run things from Leef's viewer program, or from your iOS device (such as iTunes). If you contact Leef support (quick and friendly), you can get a manual which I highly recommend. The how-to videos on site are good, too; check them out before you buy.If you make your own videos or have non-DRM videos, have a large music library, lots of photos or lots of documents, you can control how much iOS memory you use up. It's nearly unlimited and works really well. I have not had any problems with slow playback. The biggest drawback is Apple uses only USB 2.0, so if you load gigabytes it takes some time. I recommend you use the smaller Bridges, since these are easier and faster to navigate that the huge ones Leef offers. The construction quality is first rate and Leef has put a lot of thought into this. Leef also has a USB reader for Android. I have both Android and iOS, so their products come in handy.

It really is great. No major complaints.
I really do love this. I read product reviews and tried to choose my mobile storage carefully. The program is super easy to use. The only thing is that sometimes I may take photos and it doesn't register the last one taken. That stinks, so I just have to take multiple.Using the in-app camera so it goes directly to the storage is really convenient. Just a little hard to get used to if you're used to just swiping up from your locked screen on your iPhone. (First world problems!)It looks a little goofy if I'm at an event and just keep it plugged in so I can continue to take photos, but I will say that it doesn't get in the way or anything. I have gotten lots of questions about it and so many people have inquired about it because they want one, too! I would highly recommend.

I know there are ways to resolve this but they aren't the quick and easy solution I was looking for
Bought this to try to solve an iPad storage problem. Unfortunately, it requires iOS 8 or higher, an upgrade I can't do until I resolve the issue of not enough memory. So...I know there are ways to resolve this but they aren't the quick and easy solution I was looking for. Don't know if I will ever use it as I will probably just buy a new iPad with more memory. Edit: after posting this review got a nice email from LEEF support offering help with upgrade. Although it's still not the easiest solution, appreciate their support and added a star to my review.

Works as advertised; Wish it was cheaper
Nice product from Leef that allows you to expand your iPhone storage. We all hate paying $100+ to go from the 16gb version to the 32gb iPhone.PROS: Nicely designed package and appears to be sturdy. Clean app interface.CONS: Price. At $60, it's still not cheap. I'd recommend it to friends but I'm not buying it for presents. If it was $30, they'd be flying off the shelf at Xmas time. Maybe offer an 8gb version for $30.

It's not the typical flash drive!
I love this product. It's not the typical flash drive. Its unique design and dual functionality work for me since I own the new iPhone 6s. I can download any data and photos from my iPhone and upload to a laptop or computer's USB port. You can also leave the flashdrive attached to the iPhone and download directly to it. And you can attach the other piece of it onto itself to prevent loss. Unlike the typical design and size of standard flash drives, this one is a little larger, and has a little weight to it, so you won't lose it as easily. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Overall Best Of Class
Physically smaller than I pictured it, hooked to my iPad Pro it fits nicely over the smart case / with a little force it fits over the (folded back) smart cover too. I like the design of the drive and the app, haven't had any problems with either. I would recommend this product, well worth the price. One drawback - 3.33 Mb/Sec. Data Transfer Rate is kinda slow for a hard wired drive!

Printing functionality wanted...
It could be so much more. With a little tweaking to the software one could use it to directly connect to a printer, i.e., plugging the iBridge into an iPad & then using an USB cable, attach the other end to a printer to print directly from Leef.Although naturally one can print with the iPad using Airprint, Wi-Fi isn't always available or reliable. They're already partially there too: one can insert the Leef iBridge into the USB port of a printer to print directly from the drive but this change or addition would allow one to continue working on the iPad without having to disengage it every time to print...

This device works great for me
This device works great for me, but I'm not sure about how durable it is. This is my second LEEF iBridge, the first one I bought quit working after with my iPhone after 1 day. So the USB portion still worked and could hold files, but the lightning connector stopped working. Any amount of troubleshooting and even reformatting the USB did not fix the problem. LEEF replaced it with a new one which worked for a few months. Now I'm having the same problem. The USB works fine and I can save and files to it, but the lighting connector stopped working. So it just becomes a really expensive USB stick now. Have tried it with multiple iOS devices I have, and the iBridge is not working at all. Oh well, think I'm gonna explore some of the other options out there now.I can quickly transfer and send PDFs via email from the iBridge with my iPhone which saves me time

This is not a lot of good. Buy something else
Not impressed.1. Item comes in two parts, the memory stick and a protective carrying case. These are in a plastic tray in a box. Lost count of the number of pieces the plastic tray was in. I think it should have been one piece.2. I keep my iPhone n a leather case. The curve in the clip is too small for accommodate this, so it has to be removed. Not an easy task. No problem though with the iPad case.3. There were no instructions.4. Plugged it in - needed "the app". Went to the App Store and there were at least two, but eventually located the right one.5. App says iBridge needs to be updated, says how to do it, but not where to find it.6. Went to website and updating was easy, once you had got past everything else they sell.7. Plugged in to iPhone, message said MobileMemory wanted to access iPhone. Allow? Yes. Next message says iBridge not connected. Unplug it, plug it in again, and hey ho it is recogmised.8. Eventually managed to transfer some photos, but wisely did not delete them from iPhone. Then I found a backup section for photos and contacts. Transferred these but cannot find out how to read the contacts file, or delete it. Search function on the Contacts page looks at Photos.9. Icons suggest music can be transferred but I have not been able to find out how.10. I have contacted the company regarding deleting a file (8) and transferring music (9). Will update this if the poblem are solved.Update 11 Jan 18No satisfactory reply. Still unable to transfer music.Update 13 Feb.Can't find it - must be lost Not sorry, now I can get a decent one.

Very impressed, would recommend.
Purchased this to transfer documents and photos. Have successfully transferred photos, PDF, Office docs etc both normal and password protected, map files and epub ebook files - all transferred flawlessly. The device really integrates with iOS and appears in all app options for file saving and sharing etc. Plays video and music without lag and transferred image files to and from the device with ease. Can't see an option for saving video or music to the iPad but I'd expect that due to iTunes restrictions. Over all I'm really impressed with this device which almost bridges the massive downside of Apple vs Samsung on the subject of file transfer and internal memory cards etc...Not quite but almost!

Beware if you IPAD is IOS 11 as this device might not work even with firmware update
I bought one of these devices for myself not long ago. Plugged it in to my IPAD and nothing! Started reading reviews and found people found the device wouldn’t work after upgrade to IOS 11. My IPAD was already IOS11. Followed the instructions I found regarding firmware update to the device followed by a reformat all done on Windows 11. Still not working. Emailed Leef who replied next day. They suggested later ver of firmware direct from their site. Installed but still cannot use it. Leef have apologised and said nothing more they can do!!

Almost Perfect
A very useful piece of kit!So handy for file transference to and from Apple products. Slightly ergonomic design failure as it bends slightly inwards on curve. I suppose it has to for the cover to join up but not ideal for inserting onto an iPad or something. Manageable though. Otherwise great!
