perfect for the price
This is a cheap shower caddy, make no mistake about that. But it does the job, and I think you'll find that it lasts for years. I have one in my home that I've had for over 12 years. That one needs replacing, but it's still working fine. It's a bit rusty at the joints, and the shelves don't stay up so well, but it needs replacing because I want my bathroom to look nicer, and not because it's not working. This recent purchase was for camp. They have improved the means of keeping the shelves up, and I think this will work a lot better than my old one. Before, there were thin rubber rings to hold the shelves up. Now, there are solid nylon almost-rings (with a slit, so they're easier to position). The rubber band things have lost their mettle with time, but I don't think that will happen with the new system. The pole here comes in pieces, with a tapered end that fits into another pole. This is where the rust hits. There are plastic labels you can put around the joints to prevent the rust, but I never bothered on my old one, so I can't comment on that. Also, you could position the shelves to hide the seams if you wanted to.The main poles are about 1" in diameter. Then at the top, there's a spring inside the uppermost 1" pole, a cap with a hole on it that fits over that, and then a 1/2" pole that feeds inside the larger pole. The spring provides the tension. The first thing to go on my old one was the cap with the hole in it, which means that my pole at home is not as stable as it once was, though again, it still functions well. The next thing to go was the cap at the very bottom... the pole just poked right through it. But again, it still works. So to my mind, the most fallible parts of this are the plastic and rubber... and they remedied the rubber rings problem on mine. There is one extra pole in the set, if you're doing a tub installation. You use either the 16" pole or the 22" pole (I am guessing a little on lengths here). If you do a shower installation, you can use all the poles. If you need a little variance, you can cut a pole to length (if you have an appropriate saw). And if you need a lot of extra length, you can buy extra 16" poles from the manufacturer ($6 each). I think this tub is normal, and I omitted the 16" pole. (On first pass, I tried omitting the longer pole, but I had guessed wrong, and had to swap poles.)Pros:1. Affordable2. Attractive enough3. Durable, depending on your pickiness about the aesthetics4. You can take it apart and put it back together again, e.g., if you're moving.5. I find the instructions fine, and there is a toll-free number to call for help or problems.Cons:1. Seams are likely to rust, but just at the edges. I believe this will happen in the first year. Again, you can position the shelves over the seams to hide this if you want, or tape over, etc.2. Plastic caps are likely to break, but to some extent, they are cosmetic.3. I have marked the ceiling of my home with mine... possibly because I put it up too soon after a paint job.I was thinking that it was time that I shelled out for a high-end version of this for my bathroom at home, but since I expect to move in the next few years, and I am pleased with this purchase, I think I will get a new one of these (cheap) instead.

Great product, great price
If you are looking at this product it's because you want something cheap and practical. Well look no further! You must completely assemble the product. It took me about 10 minutes and the help of my dad to get it finalized into the shower. You first measure the height of the space you want the product to fill. Based on that measurement you use or don't use all of the pieces. The instructions are clear enough for a $15 product but it did take some work to make sure I was doing it correctly. When you finish putting it all together it may take some extra help getting it inserted into the shower. At first I was convinced it was too long, but with my dad's help we could compress the tension rod enough. The tension rod is literally just a spring inserted into a tube. Again, for the price, it's just fine. But it does cause some headaches if you don't insert it properly and the spring jumps out at you.You can adjust the shelves after it is installed, which was nice since I couldn't tell where I wanted them while I was putting the product together. The shelves feel plenty sturdy for holding all of our shampoos and body washes. I have a large pump body wash that I am careful not to press on too hard. Since the shelves are only attached to the pole at the corner they do get a little flimsy towards their outer edge. But, again, nothing to complain about for 15 dollars. Now that everything is in and we have been using the shelves for the past couple of months I wish I had gotten this a long time ago! My shower looks so much more clean and organized this way.

It might be cheap, but it certainly doesn't suck!
The last shower caddy my family owned was all metal, and was long overdue for replacement. It was covered with a mixture of rust and soap-scum residue and it's a wonder we waited so long to get rid of it. Many shower caddies are expensive, and to be honest I simply didn't want to spend much money. Plastic shelves keeps this product cheap, but also means that they'll never rust. For twenty bucks, I was willing to take the chance that this item wouldn't be great. But it's actually just fine. The plastic shelves themselves were a bit smaller than what we had previously, but we still had no trouble finding a place for all of the various (large) shampoo bottles, soap, razors, and scrubbers that my family of 3 uses. The caddy comes with one pole more than you'll actually need, allowing you to vary the height based on which one you use. Our shower measures 73" from the edge of the tub to the ceiling, and I assembled this caddy using the one smaller pole. Perfect fit with just the right amount of spring tension. I'll be honest and say that it is a little bit more wobbly than our last one, but unless someone reaches out and grabs for the caddy while slipping in the shower, I can't see any practical problems. Assembly was easy. Unlike the picture, I placed the bottom shelf way at the bottom, just above the base of the unit. This made sense to me, and I'm not sure why anyone would build it differently. There's been no slippage of the shelves in the couple of weeks since we started using it. One note: be careful not to miss the tape in the package, which is used to cover up the joints where one pole meets another.Overall, solid 4 stars. Yes, it's cheap - but it works just fine. Great function for the price.

Excelente calidad y precio

Does the job and save lots of space
Really easy to assemble and worth the money.however I would avoid putting heavy things on selves since it’s made of plastic and whole selves are supported by only one silicon tightener, it does have holes to screw It in.

Good but not for all fits
Its a good item but didn't fit exactly as needed. We ended up having to cut one of the pieces to make it work. Still worth it but be aware that you may need to cut it in some cases.
