Mitsubishi CP-K60DW-S Eco-Value Dye-Sub Photo Printer

This printer is a great starter for a photo booth. I had previously been using a cheap Canon printer, and a 4x6 print took about a minute to print out. Switching to this has greatly increased speed and efficiency, as the prints come out rounding to about 30 seconds from taking the picture, placing it onto a photoshop template, and printing (we run things very manually).The rolls of paper and ink produce around 300 4x6's each, and it is great that the pack to buy comes with two rolls of ink and paper; we always have enough supplies when out at a job. Plus they are both simple and fast to replace when needed.All in all, coming from a regular consumer printer, this is a big upgrade in the eyes of a photo booth-er. Definitely worth the purchase especially if you're on a budget!Bonus note: the ability to print out precut photo strips has been a hit with my clients.

I bought this years ago and the pictures were off-color and mid-tones were washed out. Now they have a new hg kit which is an improvement, but I still have two of the old useless kits. They don't offer any kind of trade in, so it's money lost.

After years of screwing around with inkjet printers I decided to buy this Dye Sub printer (Mitsubishi CP-K60DW-S), and I have not been disappointed. The image quality is amazing and i get exactly what i see on the screen the very first time !A really bonus for me is how it prints Black & White photos. I was expecting to see B&W prints with color cast to them , but they print as neutral grays and blacks. Ink jets are great for other things, But if you want to print realistic photographs you need a Dye Sub printer.

Super slow printer. They wanted 50% restocking fee. Specs don't meet performance

Bought this printer through imagination spectrum.First day using it, printed about 150 2x6 strips.It keeps showing red error light, and I have to wind the ink ribbon back to fix it. The blinking light says it's a paper or ink ribbon jam.This has happened over 40 times. Which is approximately 1 jam for Every 3 prints. I'm not sure. How to make it print and not jam up all the time. I am following the instructions 100% correctly.

I received the printer quickly and looks great. I used it for an event last Saturday (photo booth) and it worked almost perfectly. For some reason the paper kept jamming, but it'd be fixed and work again. But the quality and quick printing was great!

I like the print results. Continuous tone allows a 300 dpi resolution print to appear very good.

JUST ONE MONTH AND FIVE DAYS AGO, WE BOUGHT THIS PRINTER FROM MITSUBISHI DOMINICAN SELLERS WITH KIOSK 2.0 SOFTWARE, TO MAKE TRANSFER, BUT UNTIL NOW, THE SOFTWARE DON'T GIVE THE OPTION "MIRROR" AND WE ARE LOOSING CLIENTS AND FEELING VERY ANGRY AND DISAPOINTED WAITING FOR THE MITSUBISHI SOLUTION OR DEVOLUTION WILL BE THE NEXT WE'LL DO.
