I am writing this review 5 months after receiving it. I had ordered it for an elderly Miniature Schnauzer with back and joint issues. The only regret I have is I didn't order this for him years ago. He loved it the 2 weeks that he had left on this earth. I am so glad I purchased this for him. This made his last days so much more comfortable. He used it continuously. The bed arrived a day earlier than expected. It said it required letting the bed fill out naturally for 24 hours or maybe 48 hours before using it. It arrives with all the air sucked out of it in plastic and expands when its opened. I didn't follow the directions, he was miserable, so he started using it in about 4 hours. It held a dog that was about 20 lbs. very well. The bed was 2 to 3 inches off the floor, so it was easy for a little dog to get on with mobility issues. The outside covering is removable and washable. I washed it once and it held up well when it began to smell. Washing it multiple times I can't make any comments there. The inside padding didn't have any smell and was not washed. The covering is thin and if you hold it up to the light you can see the light through it. However you don't notice it unless you hold it up to the light. The fur hides the thin covering well and it looks lush and full. I think it makes the bed a lot more comfortable for the dog. I haven't had any chewing issues at this point so I can't make any comments there. The puppy miniature schnauzer has used it for several weeks now. He isn't interested in chewing this. I highly recommend this product for the comfort it provides especially for small dogs with joint problems. The negative things I could say is the zipper could be a little better made. I had to be cautious when putting this over the foam. The Covering was thin too, but I covered that earlier. There may or may not be better made products out there but for the price I ranked this a 5 star. It was cheaper than products I purchased at local stores in the past when prices were cheaper than they are now. If you have an elderly dog with joint issues do your dog a favor and order this for them.

Our dog enjoys this product. Our kids enjoy laying on it too. It's soft, waterproof, and the grey color keeps the temperature down. It was really easy to fit the foam in the case after unwrapping. Unsure how well it will hold up as we've only had it for a few days but it appears it'll be fairly durable.

Nice Dog Bed. Comfortable. My 60 and 90 lb dogs like them. Material is tough and a "slick" material, so if your floor is vinyl or wood, they will slide all over. No rubber face on the bottom like some dog beds. But they are nice. Fit of cover is great and I got the water barrier with them. The aqua blue is nice. Not a strong as a heavy duck or cloth version, but they are good beds. I actually carry one in my truck for travel for my service dog.

The media could not be loaded. Got this for my 75 lbs 14+ yr old shepherd/hound mix so that he has a bed upstairs and one downstairs. As others have reviewed this is not durable- the case nor the foam is meant to last or hold up to wear and tear, especially if circling/pawing/moisture comes into play. You can with a single finger poke down pretty much to the floor, however, it is still pretty comfortable and provides better support than just a comforter or blanket on a floor when he is laying on it (I've felt around at all the pressure points of elbows, hocks, etc). He really likes it and it's soft but I am covering it with a folded up strong wool blanket to keep it cleaner and more protected. I do not expect it to last more than a few months before foam getting a bit crumbly but I think it will work for us for what we need it for. High quality more supportive foam beds in this size are hard to find for under $120 or so, so this makes sense for us at this point. When we visit my parents it does roll up quite nicely to stuff in my car's back seat or trunk.My dog has severe spinal and elbow arthritis and if he lays too long on hard surfaces his hind limbs fall asleep and he sometimes gets stuck and can't get them under him so this is a perfect option for him downstairs.

We have two Aussie mixes and they love the bed. I love that I can easily zip off the quilted part and toss it in the wash. I recommend vacuuming off the debris before. It says you can fluff it in the dryer first to make it come to full size faster. I would not suggest this because even in my 7.4ft drum sized dryer it was trying to break apart, so I turned it off and let it rise on its own. I have bought from this company in the past and you buy again in the future.

I bought the 36x27x3 months ago and it was exactly what I expected. It’s easy to clean. Slight pilling after many washes but still very good quality and durability. Love it.Then I bought this larger one, the 40x32x4, and I’m not quite as happy with it. The case is all still great. But the foam pad never expanded to fullness and one end seemed much thinner than the other. ESPECIALLY one corner. I hope it will continue to fill out more but the thing says give it 48 hours and it’s been abt 4 days now. My dog doesn’t seem upset about it but I wish it was what it claimed it would be.Also, the foam pad in this larger one seems a little dirty on the bottom. I probly got a slightly used one or it got dusty somewhere along the way. I’m not upset enough to send it back bc the cases are so good I’m not worried about what’s inside it too much. But with the smaller version, the pad has stayed perfectly clean and full this whole time she’s used it so I wish the pad on this larger one was just as nice.

Got this product for my cockapoo to have a bed while we’re outside on our patio. Perfect for outdoors, pretty comfortable, and the cover is removable for wash. It’s a great size too

Tried to order the extra large orthopedic dog bed. Received the cover only; no foam mattress insert. Ordered a replacement, and had the same issue again. Contacted the manufacturer and they are very pleasant, but in the end were unable to help/ship into Canada directly. There seems to be an issue with this SKU number - it should be marked 1 of 2. The cover arrives with no packaging except the Amazon box. I am sad to return this as the cover is exactly what I wanted, and nothing like this seems to be available in our local stores. But I do need the full bed with mattress or it is no good for my dog.

I bought 2. The hair sticks to them but I just vacuum them to make them look fresh again.

What a beautiful dog's bed. Our Gyzmo a Burmese Mountain dog...snuggled in as soon as it was out of the box, then our cats joined him....they love it and it keeps them so comfortable. Thank you for a great product delivered in excellent time.

This bed is big enough for both my dogs but I think I’m going to get another one. It is soft and feels cool.Great bed.
