Altchek MD - Daily Exfoliating Cleanser - 8.2 oz.

I like this cleanser and the way it makes my skin feel. There is a problem, though. It does not remove makeup. After you wash your face with it, your skin may look clean, but if you use a cotton ball with toner or a face wash wipe afterwards, you will see that your face is not even close to clean. So if you like it, wash your face with something first to remove the makeup, then use it.

I'm someone with combination-oily skin and have been a long-time fan of glycolic acid so when i saw this product, i knew i had to try it. Because it lacks sulfate, this cleanser doesn't lather, but also because of this, the skin of the face doesn't feel tight and dry after using it. It has the consistency of a liquidy white cream, but it cleans the face gently with its barely-there micro-beads. I like using this intermittently along with my Cetaphil cleanser, and I STRESS intermittently because i noticed that using it every day caused my skin to peel more than i could handle (ingredients like resveratrol or AHA can cause that as new skin gets revealed). A few times a week will suffice for me. I can't attest to how well it clears up issues likes hyper-pigmentation on its own, because i also use a glycolic gel from abroad, but i can say that it leaves the skin feeling nice, plump, and looking glowy. It should also be noted that it is NOT a makeup remover. I certainly haven't had any breakouts using this product and would buy it again.

Not a bad product, but it doesn't lather at all. Used up the product then opted for my new go-to Derma E Refining Glycolic Vitamin A and Glycolic Cleanser.

I have oily, acne prone skin.a little bit of chocolate, and there goes any clear skin.Not only has this product cleared, and maintained a clear skin, but ive eaten a whole batch of chocolate this past week (it's haloween), and nothing.Dr Altcheck knew what he was doing when he made this.

I was so excited when I purchased this from Ulta. The consistency of this cleanser is literally water; it does not lather, and it does not feel like anything is even on your face. It does not remove any makeup or debris. I thought the AHA acid would help with hyper pigmentation, as claimed, but no. I've been using it on and off for months now, and everyday I regret this purchase. There has been absolutely no change in my skin. I feel like evidently, I'm making my skin worse by using something this useless. So, its going in the trash tomorrow.

Great stuff, gentle and effective, I exfoliate no more frequently than every three days (give the new skin cells some time to grow). Nice scent, too. And, very little required, so this will last a while.
