Good little compact keyboard
I wanted a small keyboard for basic note entry in Cubase and was quite surprised at what a good job it does for under £40. The key action is not brilliant but it's very useable and you have a choice of 3 velocity curves. Push 2 buttons and the transport feature is enabled (and works well with Cubase 10 - an exe file is supplied which automatically configures the midi ports and control options). It will play / record / stop and fast forward / rewind. Push 2 other buttons together and I can then select tracks in Cubase - other functions are available and the parameter controlled is easily configurable. If you take 10 minutes to read the short manual and learn how the buttons work then it is quite intuitive and unlocks a surprising amount of functionality considering that the device has a tiny footprint. I'd recommend this for note entry and control in a cheap, useable package.

You can't go wrong
Very nice Keyboard with plenty of functions to play with. Functions missing on more expensive models. You get your own 8-Track Studio so you can start making music right out of the box. This is ideal for beginners its very compact so easy to use worth the price for the DAW alone.

Pretty good for the price
Very light portable midi keyboard with 2 octaves of small keys, (doesn’t do sound). Not bad quality in the build either. A bit plasticky(is that a word) but doesn’t affect performance. Buttons are small but good rubber quality. If you need something portable that you can use anywhere with your Ipad or laptop then this is great kit for the price. Keyboard is fine for laying down a midi track but don’t plan on reciting “Moonlight Sonata” on a live recording. Has some really good functionality such as pitch bend, sustain, octave control, layering notes and midi functions such as volume control panning and latching. I consider myself pretty tech comfortable but I did find this kit a bit difficult to program and it took me some time to follow the instructions which could have been easier to follow. All considering, if you want some basic midi keyboard input that doesn’t require all ten digits(both hands) and you have a restricted budget or just starting with midi then this kit is just the ticket. Worth more than its price tag, so very god value.

Simply Stunning!
On its own, a dumb keyboard but connected to a computer hosted DAW, an incredibly versatile instrument. When I bought it I was concerned that my large fingers would be a hindrance but it's been fine. I use the Studio One DAW where multiple tracks can be set up as different instruments. When you register the instrument with Nektar, you can download software that enables the keyboard to control some functions of the DAW. With this installed, you can move up or down the tracks with a simple button press, effectively switching instrument. I'm very impressed.

New at Music creation
Hi all I'm a total newbie at this music creation, this unit is very nicely made and feels like a quality item. It's not that big and I can play the keyboard quite comfortably. After registering and downloading the included software, I was off and running ( 20 mins ). My first attempts were really just faffing about and learning what's what, it took me most of the 25 mins to figure out why there was no sound through my PC, but I had some PC settings wrong in the sound section. After that, I've been having a ball just trying new settings and adjusting all the many controls. For the money I feel like I got a good deal, and I am learning lots of new skills. I'm still NO musician, but I'm having a lot of fun.

Cheap and works ok but rather spend more for better keys
It does what it says, just about, but it's really cheap quality. I find the keys too small to adapt to after using full size keyboards, and the feel - well, there isn't much. But for some keyboard work with a DAW it can help. I'll buy another one with full size keys and better feel.

Love everything about this keyboard! It's minimal, cute, and responsive. Great build quality. I also very much like the physical noise and feel of the keys – it gives me a good sense of connection mechanically.
