KiNSMART 1955 Chevrolet Stepside Pickup Truck, 1:32 Scale, Die Cast Metal, Yellow, 5 Inch

I did a "Im not old, Im classic" theme for my husband's birthday and used these trucks as centerpieces. I purchased the wood frames on amazon and glued the trucks on them with a glue gun to keep them from rolling off. They looked perfect on all the tables. Cute, good sized, great price, good quality, sturdy trucks. Highly recommend purchasing these for any type of decor or event.

This size fits in well with an O scale railroad.

My 3 year old grandsoon said he wanted a yellow pickup and I wanted a little bigger track he didn't already have but they don't make bigger trucks because I only found this one. He said he eally liked it. I like that he liked it. So its all good but he lives far away so I have never seen it yet. trin

Being that I did a search specifically and intentionally for 1:43 scale models, one would think that models of that scale would be shown, while models of other scales were omitted. Amazon cheerfully showed me this pretty little truck model as a search result, and, naively thinking that Amazon understood "1:43", I ordered it. Ineterestingly, the listing completely omits scale, apparently because the seller has no interest in connecting buyers with what they actually want. Now that I have the model, I can read "1/32" on the bottom, making the model MUCH too large for my purposes. 1:43 is at the outside of what I need to accompany my 1:56 and 1:50 scale wargaming models, yet Amazon's search engine showed this product, despite my specifying a certain scale, which is most definitely NOT even close to this model's scale of 1/32. Buyers beware! Amazon's search engine is defective.I cannot criticize the model. While it is utterly worthless to me because it is the wrong scale, it would be a fine model for the price at the scale I actually asked Amazon to show me. Why Amazon would pull a bait and switch is inexplicable to me, but it happened.

For the money it's very good. The scale is more like 1:45, so it is a little bigger than the 1:48 scale I needed for "O" gauge trains. So. i put it closer in front of the layout to give it a nearer perspective.
