perfect for poolside
The speaker on this is smaller than the larger one with cup holders so this one won’t last the water out with noise vibration. If it gets water in it, you have to pick it up and drain the water out. Minor inconvenience for us. Our purchase was mainly to get a waterproof speaker in case it got knocked into the pool and this one fits the bill. It has to be very dark outside in order for the lights to show up inside the pool but that is not a dealbreaker for us

The Wave Rider is a great product.
I bought it to float in my pool, but when I heard how it sounded I use camping, out on the deck even in the house. The sound quality for the price is great. A lot of these portable speakers you hear sound like little am radios, but The Wave Rider sounds like a small Stereo. I would recommend this to anyone.

Decent speaker for the cost- great sound and battery life
Pros- Pretty good sound quality, great battery life- I typically use it all day and then charge it for the next time.Cons- if you put it in the water, it usually gets staticky right away and you have to pull it out and let the water drain. Sometimes it works floating for a short time, but not for long. There are lights on the bottom, which would look cool at night, but unfortunately with the static, you can't really enjoy this feature.Bottom line- It's a pretty decent speaker for the cost as long as you don't mind just setting it near the pool and not in the pool.

ive read other reviews elsewhere and so I decided to go check it out sams club had it for 30 bucks so its really tiny so I passed on the purchase.... ive got several of there and love them rolling rocker 4 ….

Does not connect well in the water
Loved the idea but every time we put in the water it did not connect. Worked well out of water but that is not why we purchased it.
