This thing gets hot!! Thank God it's adjustable! Everyone in the house loves it, including the dog. I ordered a twin size and it definitely fits well. Super soft. The color is great. The cord is extra long and it's easy to use. My daughter loves it!!

I’ve had this blanket for approximately 8 months, and it has crapped the bed! Every time I plug it in, it attempts to warm up and then the lights on the console start flashing an error! This is just money wasted! I will not be purchasing anything else from this company. These blankets are not cheap, and I’m not in the business of wasting my hard earned dollars on trash!

This was the best blanket ever - for about 3 months (I purchased it at the end of September and it died December 31). I am always cold, so I use an electric blanket every night, year round. My previous blanket was a sunbeam, and I had it for at least 5 years. I loved it, but it wasn’t very soft and the wires could be felt. I wasn’t particularly sorry when it died because it meant I could find a new one that I hoped would be softer. Also, I was sometimes cold, even with my blanket on full hot and a light comforter on top to reflect the heat back.I was super excited, then, when I found this blanket. Its 20 levels of heat meant that sometimes I would get too hot and didn’t actually need it on full heat! And if the bed got messed up and the sheet moved so the blanket was directly on me, that was just fine, because it’s SUPER soft and I can’t feel the wires! Also, the preheat/boost option was amazing because I no longer had to wait 15 minutes for the blanket to heat up - it would start to get warm almost immediately!!I thought I had found the best possible solution - until it quit working after 3 months!! The first day, I woke up and realized my blanket was not on. I looked over and saw an error code on my controller (it said E2). I unplugged the controller from the wall and the blanket, let it sit for a while, plugged it back in, and it was fine. The next morning, same code on the controller, so I unplugged it again and actually left it unplugged all day. This time, however, the controller did not reset. I have 2 controllers, so I thought I’d try it on the other side - no luck! I also put the other controller onto the blanket (essentially switching the controllers and the sides of the blanket they were on - no luck)! I finally ended up putting the good controller and the good side of the blanket on my side (my husband doesn’t need heat), so I could have heat, but I also looked into getting it replaced.Amazon can’t help in this case because there’s an existing warranty on the blanket, so I had to submit a claim through JLAHome. Their work hours were not the greatest - open super early (7:00am) but not very late (closed at 3:30pm). It took me a week to finally get through at a good time. I told the lady on the other end the issue, and then she asked if I had done all of the troubleshooting. She said that there was a booklet included with my blanket - I didn’t see one, but I have the packaging it came in. So then she asked me what the problem was - even though I had just told her - and she asked me where I had purchased it (again, something I told her). After verifying more details that I had given her (the fact that I had purchased a king sized blanket and have 2 controllers), and that only one side of the blanket is currently working with one controller, she submitted a claim. However, there are no king sized blankets in stock, and they won’t have them for 3 weeks! That’s not even the worst part! The worst part is that they can’t just put the order in and have the blanket shipped to me when it is in stock. Instead, I have to wait for 3 weeks, call in, give them the claim #, and hopefully they will have it in stock then to send to me. And then hopefully that blanket lasts longer than this one has!!

We are very pleased with this electric blanket. After purchasing several other brands and sizes (that had to all be returned), we are delighted with this one. We use it on our couch, so one or two adults can use it, along with our dog. It’s soft and the teal color is beautiful. We chose this one because it had a remote that had multiple levels with various numbers versus a remote using high medium and low. The remote does get a tad bit warm. The blanket heats up quickly and we believe it will last a long time. Definitely recommend!

Very nice plush electric throw works great. I use it basically like an electric blanket on top of my regular bedding and it keeps me toasty warm with no cold spots on these cold winter nights. Didn't think I would like the 2 hour timer but it turns out that it keeps me from getting too hot an is a nice feature.

Our previous heated blanket had 5 yr warranty & failed 1 week after the 5 yr warranty expired...go figure!Although I said "lightweight" in comments that's "while on top of us"... it's a 9.5lb blanket (7.6 for the prev brand that died), & I suspect its the diameter/number of wire loops ). Old blanket has wires that are spaced 9 to 18 mm apart, while this one is 4 to 8 mm apart....& this one has a thicker feeling wire....DEFINITELY heats the bed well in 1 hour on "preheat" (we turn ours off when we get under the covers--bed temp is a toasty 93 to 95 degrees).As an aside, many internet sources list heated blankets as "significant source of EMF exposure", this one brags "zero EMF" and my Trimeter verifies 0 (not sure how they do that). Now within 2 inches of the controller it vacillates 35-50 milligaus ...but a harmless norm reading if your body stays a few inches away from the controller)

I absolutely adore this blanket and love the pre heat option. I use it every night even during the summer. Unfortunately, the blanket is now erroring with "E2" displayed on the controller. I unplug it and re-plug it and that will fix it for a moment.. but it will cut off in the middle of the night waking me up. Love the product, just wish it would have lasted longer, or at least had the option to buy a new controller separately.

I have purchased two of these, the first I purchased for myself and I loved it so much that I bought a second one as a gift for someone else.The dustey pink colour is slightly mauve, and the fabric is plush with a very very subtle sheen. You can see the outline of the heating wires threaded throughout the inside of the blanket but they don't poke and are fully and securely sewn in so they stay exactly in place and do not shift around inside the blanket. The heating is evenly distributed and consistent. It gets toasty warm and almost hot but not quite hot. I have laid on top of it many times and its a fairly strong heat but not so hot that it would burn. My dog absolutely loves laying on it, and when she does I turn it down slightly because she will start panting after a while if she happens to lay on it while on maximum. The cord is long enough to reach any plug in my bedroom, and connects to the blanket securely. I like that the controler is simple with few buttons.The second one of these I purchased was a gift for my grandma. She lives in an elder care centre in the north of Canada where it gets extremely cold. I personally feel so cozy and comforted when using this blanket and I thought it would look really nice and stylish in her suit, and keep her warm and cozy on cold winter days/nights. The controler are simple so it should be easy for her to operate as well. I did hear after about 6 months that hers stopped working, unfortunately. I am not sure if we just got a lemon? It happens.Overall a really good purchase even though one didn't last very long I and my grandma really enjoy(ed) them.I hope others will find this review helpful!

I got this heat blanket for my son and within a couple of weeks it was showing flashing lights on the controller and no longer heating at all. I didn't get to return it right away and I just checked, the return window has closed. To be clear, this isn't just us not liking it. It's a defective product and no way of returning it and getting my money back OR swapping it for a new one.
