I just recently started growing my beard out for the first time. I have been thinking about getting something like this kit to help growth, so i tried a few samples of other brands prior to this kit. I can tell you that this brand DOES NOT measure up to the more expensive brands out there.For starters, the fact that the oil and balm do not have a scent kind of throws me off. Any good product has a good smell in my opinion. Since it kind of smells like water, my best guess is that the main ingredient in the product is... water.I have only been using the kit for 2 days, but in those 2 days my beard feels more rough than it did prior to using it. Even my girlfriend mentioned that my face hair hurts her now when it never did before using this..... Prior to this kit, i was using samples that i had from the brand Uncle Jimmy. Uncle Jimmy is a far superior product, and i wish i would have just purchased from them instead of wasting my money on this kit.The only reason i am giving this product 2 stars is because of the brush, comb, and scissors that actually make this kit somewhat useful.

Scissors were good for trimming mustache hairs that were getting in the way of my mouth. Beard oil is neutral scented (smells like grapeseed oil with no additional scents), spreads well and makes my beard feel soft. The boar-bristle brush spreads oil well and helps smooth my beard. The balm is, like the oil, unscented, and helps provide direction to the beard hair (think like pomade). I haven't had occasion to use the comb, but it seems sturdy enough, and the sandalwood feels and smells nice enough.

Got it for my husband as a gag gift because he doesn’t grow the best facial hair... turns out he absolutely loves it and he swears it’s helping his problem spots and makes his hair softer.

I couldn't smell much of anything when my husband used it, it hasn't made his beard any softer after 3 months of use and he says the scissors are dull.

Bought this for my boyfriend as a gift, he seems to really like it. Packaging was really nice. He loves the boar’s hair brush everything seems to be working well and I think he really enjoys it. Good product!

I originally ordered this kit as a gift. They enjoyed it and used it enough that I bought one for myself. It has been a fine addition to my grooming kit. Would defiantly buy it again.

my boyfriend was so excited when he saw this and loves how the brush feels, when i say this i mean he sat on the couch brushing his beard with this brush!

Bought this for my husband. He loved it!!😄 we both agreed that such a classy looking product could have been packaged better. Maybe a wooden box would have been more manly.
