i love Richard Paul Even's books! This was captivating!

After reading the forgotten road series that I loved so much I had to read the walk series. I have grown to enjoy reading more than watching television and I think I will become an avid reader from now on. I gave the series a five star rating because it kept me Captivated all the way through. I think I am an RPE fan.

I really enjoyed the easy and relaxing reading of this series. There was just enough suspense to keep the reader's interest. I loved the diverse characters in the story and the way the author used real life experiences to bring the characters to life. It was wonderful how the characters' stories added view points and wisdom to Alan's meditations and healing. I also loved how the author emphasised that service to others helps us heal when we need it the most. I recommend this series to everyone that is going through heartbreaking and tough times.

Like the Walker, Alan, the reader is changed by the journey described. The author writes a modern screenplay adaptation of the Book of Job.I read all five books straight through which was easier than discovering the first book or any of the others and having to either wait or go back to the beginning. The part of the walk across South Dakota rings true. Crazy Horse Mountain's creation is worthy of the ink and paper devoted to it.

Read all the reviews of all the walk series and loved it. After I received all the books and started reading it I could not stop. I could follow the states the cities on the map which was so interesting. It was writing so well I could picture all the people in my mind. It was fun , sad , loving you never new what happen next.

An outstanding series by an author I've grown to appreciate more with each book.. Richard Paul Evans continues to develop characters that are so believable that you can actually feel their joy and pain. You are drawn into the character's life in such a way that you are forced to confront your own demons. I laughed, I cried. And then I reread the whole series!

I started reading The Walk after my son recommended it to me. He had read the book while he was in jail. He hadn't read a book since graduating from high school and I knew it had to be good if it kept his interest. I read all 5 books and couldn't put it down. What an amazing journey. I look at my life differently now. Thank you.

My husband committed Suicide may 26 up north when i came back south with his ashes and clothes i put them back in his drawer and came across miles to go i felt like it was a message from him i had to order the rest it gave me some what of peace!
