Mr. Gasket Competition Shift Handle

This is a great shifting knob for anybody looking to get a little bit more of a sporty feel. Plus, since this is made out of aluminum, it is weighted which aids in a faster shift. Getting my whole hand on the T-Bar is really awesome. The ergonomics are great, the look is great, and the feel is great.Only thing that I had a problem with was with putting it on initially. This was my first knob trade-out so I am not sure if this was just a noob mistake or not. Depending on the size of your shifter stick you may need to use one of the plastic sleeves that comes with it that goes inside of the knob to make it fit your shifter stick. This being my first knob, I tried to put the knob on without the sleeve, I tried to put the sleeve on the shifter stick and push the knob down over top, and finally the right way (I think). I put the sleeve inside the knob and lined it up with the little screw (for tightening) and screwed the whole knob down with the sleeve inside. This is what worked for me. I wish they would have included a set of instructions for new people like me.Overall, this is one awesome shifting knob! Go buy it! Treat yourself! 99% chance you won't regret it!

It's nice and weighted on the shifter. I'm kind of concerned about sunny hot summer days. It seems like it was made more for shifters that are angled back as a straight up one gives it an awkward angle. It does seem to help shifting although I prefer T handles.This shifter handle was the exact same size as my shifter. I was actually able to thread it right on. The metal cut threads into the hole. I'll make it look pretty if I decide to leave it on there.

The picture makes it look a lot nicer. The black is just painted on and chips off easily. Perhaps I got unlucky, but when I got my knob, it came dented as if someone had dropped it before taking it out of the box.

Honda Fit 2009 - It doesn't fit tightly even with the plastic insert. It's rather uncomfortable to hold and I'm going to be ordering something different.OUCH!!! It's warm outside right now and I had to wear a glove to shift because this was burning my hand. I can't hold this today because it's scalding hot.

This was a nice shift knob but it will not fit a 2008 Wrangler or at least the 07-10 JK...JK's need a 5/8" smooth hole and this only had a 3/8"-1/2" smooth hole.

Doesn't fit standard threading and size of shift lever.

Worked perfect in my 1988 mustang gt. I had to put a different shifter in it but it is awesome. Love the feel of the new shifter and handle.

Good quality easy to install but I would of preferred it came with threaded inserts instead of plastic sleeve and set screw.

Very solid grip and it fits my hand perfectly, installed it on my 2012 Mazda 5 and go for a drive for 10 minutes and I already get used to it. Installation is easy and straight forward. Only down side is the color, it's a bit dull, not shiny and chrome so not awaited highly enough to enter Walhalla
