Awesome product
I've had mine now for 7 years, with a 6 gallon tank it last me 4 day continues running. I used it on my Honda eu2000i, cap fit great, holds seal. I just purchased a Honda eu2200i and it fit perfectly. I just used it on a 10 day trip running it in the back of my Tacoma running 24/7 with a 3 gal tank. I just added gas when I filled my truck. It used about 2 gallon a day. Awesome setup. Great product. I just wish I could buy just the cap, because I want to add a longer hose.

Functional, but overpriced for what you get
The seller, Northern Tool, was great. No problems with delivery. The "system" itself, is functional, but let's be honest about what the "system" is. It's an aluminum machined gas tank cap with a short fuel hose connected to it. For about $100. The seller, Northern Tool, doesn't control this price - the manufacturer, IPI Industries Midwest, sets this absurd price point. The "system" doesn't actually do any work, as the fuel pump on your generator is responsible for actually sucking the fuel from the tank through the "Bergs" fuel line and into the generator. To add insult to injury, you have to assemble the thing yourself, so get your wrenches ready. It's not a hard or long task, but it's annoying to pay 10x manufacturing cost on something and then still have to assemble it.The aluminum machined cap is nice and all, but way overkill on both material and price. Unfortunately, this looks to be the only game in town for extended run fuel tank connections, so they can get away with it.

Didn’t last under normal use.
I received this the middle of March 2020. We have used it a fair amount at our camp in the Everglades. Brought it home last weekend along with our Honda 2200 as a back up in case we lost power in the supposed hurricane last weekend. When we pulled the fuel tank out of the back up the truck all the ball bearings fell out of the quick connect and it fell apart. There are no signs of visible damage. It says lifetime warranty on the ad. Well guess what, we were basically told tough luck by the manufacturer. They said to buy another one. Buyer beware.

Damaged my generator.
Didn’t get a chance to use until after 30 days so I can’t return it (which really sucks because it wasn’t cheap). But the cap destroyed the thread on my generator. Very pissed about it. And not only that had a hard time getting it to pull from the added gas tank.

made strong but made wrong
seems to be well made BUT made wrong. As others have said the threads are incorrect for Honda generators and it WILL eventually strip your threads and not work. The problem is the seal has to be maintained and in order to do this the cap must be tight or it will not suck the backup gas over. So when you tighten it and the threads are incorrect which tears the threads on the generator. Next time you have to turn a little more to get the seal etc. and eventually the threads are destroyed and you can't get a seal and you're out of luck in the field and the manufacturer. Thankfully the original cap still works because they are correct and deeper.
