My critters absolutely love these. There is some breakage/crumbling in the package, but that is to be expected.

Totally amazed at how the deer and the turkey in the forest behind the house liked this! I expected the march hares and the squirrels to imbibe, but this was unexpected how quickly this drew the crowd. This was small and intended for interior pets. It had a really fresh, herbaceous odor and was a dark green like canned spinach. I'll keep buying, but in bales instead of this size.

Monthly I order 8 lb of hay from small pet select for my two guinea pigs. This time around I noticed the cubes and decided to order a bag of Timothy cubes for them since the quality of the regular hay is good. I have no doubt the quality on the cubes is good as well, although they are mini sized cubes. Pictured are one of the pet select cubes next to one of the Kaytee cubes you would buy from the pet store. As you can see they are very small to what most people consider a normal sized hay cube. Overall they smell fresh and my guinea pigs like them, just don't be surprised when they come a bit smaller and crumblier than ones you would buy at the pet store. I would say this bag will last my two guinea pigs about a month or two as a treat which is good for the price. Overall I would definitely recommend for small pets especially if you already order from small pet select anyway like I do.

At first Daisy my Rabbit would eat one a day for a few days now she eats many a day . I wanted her to eat them insted of so many treats. Mission accomplished. They can be a little messy, not too bad . Hay is messy also.

My bunnies love the Kaytee compressed hay mini bales, so I assumed they would like this product. The price is certainly reasonable, and having 5 pounds on hand sounded great...until I received the bag and saw that the bottom third of the bag was, essentially, sawdust. I sifted out the dust and sorted the whole pieces, which varied from only a half-inch to an inch in size, still thinking my rabbits would eat them. My time was wasted, because they would not touch them. They sniffed and turned away. I had one piece of the Kaytee mini bales left and put one of each brand in their pen. They immediately chewed on the Kaytee and ignored these. Over the next week I tried a few more times, but they had zero interest. The product appeared to be fresh - no off smell, no moisture, no fungus, etc. It's just tasteless, I guess.

Some rabbits may love these cubes, but ours don’t. They chew bits and pieces of the cubes then ignore them. They eat just about every other Timothy hay item, but they don’t enjoy these as much as they do other chew treats.

My rabbits don't seem to care.for these at all. I end up tossing them every couple of days because they won't touch them. 90% of the box is just tiny bits. Definitely not what I would consider "cubes". Could cery well be why my bunnies wont touch them. Super disappointed. I buy my pellets and hay from this company so I assumed this would be great too.

I purchased this for my 2 fussy guinea pigs. when I first opened the bag I pulled out a piece that had a bit of fur in it. I checked the rest of the bag but it seems like it was a one off but still a bit disconcerting. My guinea pigs arent in love with this product. they will take a piece from me and chew on it for a few seconds before finding something else they find more tasty. i will keep going until the bag is through but this isn't a product I will replenish.

Rabbits don't want it at all. Hamster got a little bit. Expensive and unfortunately bad product.

My rabbit tried these when he was a baby and he didn’t like them. He tried them again a few weeks ago since I still had some left and apparently he’s obsessed now! I’m so glad since they’re a great source of fibers.
