Seem to be substantial pins
I have bought a lot of landscaping/fabric pins over the years, most bent out of shape or deteriorated. So far, these actually seem to be quite substantial. I currently am using them for all sorts of (probably unintended) purposes, such as as fabric pins to hold the bottom portion of the burlap wrapping around my roses to the ground; anchoring holiday decorations to the ground so they don't blow away; holding down my drip line hoses. So far they seem to be staying in the ground through wind, freeze/thaw, and tripping over the things they are supposed to be holding down. I can't comment yet as to whether they will rust/corrode when left in the ground because I've only been using them for a few months.

Do the job, but they rust
Used these pins to support some of our holiday decorations outside. They certainly did the job in keeping them in place, but as I took down the decorations I noticed these pins had begun to rust and got a yellowish/gold streak on the things they were holding down. Not a big deal as I was just washed it off, but was hoping they would not begin to rust so quickly.....but for the price they do the job.

Works to hold down lawn flamingo.
We used these to stake in our lawn ornament flamingos and they worked perfectly for the job.

So good, I came back and bought a second set.
The media could not be loaded. I loved these so much I came back and bought a second set. We had 18 inches of snow and heavy winds here in NJ and our garden birds didn’t budge. They are fabulous. It’s so worth buying these sturdy stakes and never having to worry about fixing the bird statues. I use them and love them.

DeWitt APRC Anchoring Pins
I bought these to hold down pond netting for my Koi ponds. At first they were longer than the previous pins I have used and didn't think they would work but actually I like these much better. They go down deeper in the soil and add a little bit more security to the hold of the pond netting. The pins are very sturdy and don't bend like the previous ones that I have purchased. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Easy to use , look great.
These pins were exactly negative needed. I use them to support the bricks around my.small flower beds. One on each side where e the bricks meet does the trick. They look great too while keeping b the bricks nest and in place.

Not quite good enough.
We ordered these to hold stabilize and keep upright some "lawn litter" decorations. Unfortunately, one good breeze defeated these stakes, so we had to go to Plan B for a couple of the top-heavy ornaments. These should work find for lots of things, but I would recommend something different for ornaments that are top heavy.

Needed a lot for a single job
I used a lot for some top-heavy objects. Even though the weight on the objects wasn't balanced in any case, I felt I needed a lot for each object for the area which they covered. Maybe I needed some that were longer than these to get the job done.
