Dubble Bubble One Inch Gumballs Assorted Flavors 80 Ounce Bag (4 Pack)

Order ended up being filled by giftsandsales.com. The bag felt light. Weighted on a food scale at lab. 4.4, not 5 lbs. Not a big difference but >10% less. Contacted giftsandsales who were very polite and credited my account with 10% of total price. They implied the package must have been damaged and that their standard USPS priority mailer could hold 8 lbs. of gumballs. Neither was true. The package was intact and bulging just to hold the gum sent. Maybe they thought no one would notice or complain. 10% isn't a huge deal but if I paid my employees 10% less than we agreed they would rightfully be unhappy. Gum quality good and was soft.

BUYERS BEWARE....Received underweight package by over a half of a pound as with several other purchasers. I believe many people aren't weighing their gumballs when they receive them. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!

I recently bought these. Why does it state that you get 5 pounds of gum balls but it is definitely not 5 pounds? There is about 1/2 a pound missing. The gum is fine but I am not happy with paying for 5 pounds but not receiving all of what I have paid for.

Let me start by saying I have (pictured) a 1985 King Carousel Gumball Machine with Stand. I bought it on eBay fixed it up by buying parts here and there, added a cute hello kitty car decal and painted it pink and white. So once that was finished, I had to figure out what kind of Gumball? So I purchased gumballs for it the first time and I chose 13mm(1/2") generic gumballs. They were super small and my daughter and friends/family would need like 5 at a time to get a mouth full. They were super soft however. I new when it finally ran out (about 9 months) I'd go with bigger ones. So next I needed to find out how many pounds would fill the Gumball machine.Question:How many gumballs fills a King Carousel Gumball Machine? After searching I found that with 1/2" it would take 5 pounds. So the question was, how many pounds of 1"?Answer:5 pounds! Every last Gumball was able to fit. It was all the way to the top! Thought it was going to be too much but it was perfect.Question:How were the gumballs themselves?Answer:Extremely flavorful. Most everyone has had one of these Double Bubble gumballs in their life. Tastes just like that. But they were very hard! Not sure if that is because it is winter and they were in my mailbox? Much harder than I remember!So that's about it. These seem to be REAL Double Bubble gumballs which is really cool! They look nice and even came with a Double Bubble nutritional facts thingy!

Got package today and immediately noticed that it didn't feel like 5lbs. Pulled out our food weight machine that's accurate to a gram. Our package was 4lbs 2oz which is 17.5% short of 5lbs.

Just like the Dubble Bubble I remember, my only issue is with the actual vendor (FiveStar100). Supposed to be a 5lb bag, I weighed it on a calibrated scale and it was only 4.5lbs. Doesn't look like a Dubble Bubble factory sealed bag, more like a wholesale repackaged item. In all fairness I did not contact the vendor about this, didn't feel it was worth my time. For those that are not familiar with this gum you get a burst of flavor which dies rather quick but that is how its supposed to be. Love all the variety of flavors, kids love them as well.

Under weight by almost a pound, and let me guess my brand new scale is wrong. We both know what kind of person you are. Weigh your bags everyone!!!

253 is the count but a couple were damaged in shipping. I guess we should eat those (and did) Tasted like a regular gumball.
