Good duplicator, Samsung drives.
This is an EZ Dupe disc copier for CDs and DVDs. It will copy on DVD+R/-R including DL. It will not copy CD+G karaoke discs with the graphics, only the music. It will not copy the copy protected DVDs.You can pick and choose tracks on CDs to make a custom disc using the buttons on top of the unit. You can also change the settings. It is a little different from the picture. The front does not have the smiley curve at the bottom, its just black mesh. The top does have the buttons and the LCD display and shows "DVD Coolcopy".I called EZ Dupe and they said the outside may be made different for different sellers but the guts are the same. This one has Samsung drives. You can buy a different one with Sony or LG drives.I love this unit. I open the drawers, put the discs in and close the drawers, thats it. It detects the discs, copies them, beeps when done and opens drawer. It may take 5 to 45 minutes depending on the disc content. It burns at a slower speed for better quality.I read the info on back of the unit to EZ Dupe and it was manufactured in October of 2011 so its new and not an old model. If you need CD+G karaoke copies theres a model that will do it. Check EZ Dupes web site for more info. Ths DVDs I make also work on my portable DVD player which is nice because my computer made copies would not.

Problem-prone. Let the buyer beware.
Bought because health issues required an easier way to duplicate family video DVDs than via computer. The concept is a good one, if the unit worked. I was able to make one duplicate; then the unit began giving "Failure" messages or would get hung up and stop working. This was followed by multiple emails back and forth with the company. Eventually they sent a couple of test DVDs to try. The tests seemed to be OK, but the unit never did work properly with the Sony and Verbatim DVDs I was using, formats supposedly compatible with the unit. The company representative gave me a number to call. By this time I was finished and the machine is now gathering dust in the attic.
