This is a truly soft and fluffy mattress topper. As the other reviews said it was vacuum packed but as soon as I opened it it puffed up like a big marshmallow! The stuffing feels very nice it springs right back to it's original shape as soon as you get up off of it. It is both soft and supportive and I love it. This was an excellent purchase I'm very happy with my purchase. I will review again to relay the longevity of the topper but I have a feeling that there's not going to be a problem with that. This is a quality topper and it also fit around my deep mattress. The sides tucked under and around it and it covered my deep mattress just fine. It is very snug. It would fit any mattress just fine because of the way it stretches around the edges of the topper on the sides and bottom,just like a sheet would. Also I laid on it for quite a while and it did not make me feel overheated or anything and I tend to sleep warm. The bottom line is it's worth every penny I paid.

Glad I ignored the negative reviews. This really helped a hard bed to make it softer. I couldn't sleep on my side or back very long for having pressure discomfort. After I put this on I could sleep on my sides and back and not be uncomfortable. I'm sleeping much better now. Happy sleeper now.

It says it works in high capacity washers but it didn't. It ruined it before I even got to use it. It melted parts & put holes in it. Washed on cold too.Have to use laundromat to clean.Seemed great before washing.

I bought this as a topper for an inflatable air mattress 18" deep. It arrived neatly folded in vacuum-sealed plastic, inside an attractive zippered clear plastic case. Air releases as soon as the plastic is pierced, and the cover immediately puffs up a bit (but not a lot). There was no smell. It looks very puffy when laid out, but pushes right to the bottom when pressed on, because the 12" squares are either too large, allowing the filling to be pushed aside, or there isn't enough filling. It's exactly like sleeping on top of a quilted comforter. The elastic side fabric does extend down 18", but no further, so it doesn't stretch far enough to wrap underneath the 18" mattress, and the elastic rides back up. Fortunately there is a groove further up on the air mattress that the elastic settles into.

3 years ago when I was but a poor college student I purchased a mattress. The cheapest full mattress I could possibly buy in the whole store. My goal was not comfort, but merely something to sleep on. For the past 3 years, I have also had numerous back problems, especially in the morning. Did they deliver?Then, a friend of mine suggested a try a mattress topper. I scoured amazon, and found this Hospitology topper. I was a bit reluctant to choose it over a memory foam topper, but the price was right and it had fantastic reviews. It arrived quickly, and the second I took it out of the plastic container it came in, it poofed to life. I went to bed that night hoping for a miracle and was astonished the next morning when I got out of bed with no back pain. (I was also 30 mins late for work because I turned off all my alarms and fell back asleep on my now comfy bed) Truth is I was late for work for 3 days in a row after I got the topper. I blame it partially on the comfy bed and partially on my old alarm clock deciding it didn't need to produce sound any longer.Overall, I am a very satisfied customer. I have been suggesting this mattress topper to anyone who mentions buying a topper for their bed. I've had the topper now for a few weeks and have had 0 back pain since putting it on my bed. A good investment vs the price of a new mattress or an expensive memory foam topper. I am an avid fan of plush beds and it honestly feels like sleeping on a cloud. I have also found myself waking up less through the night. A+ to Hospitology on this awesome product!
