Arrived fast worked a perfectly. Lots of negative reviews on this tool made me sceptical after I read the reviews after purchasing it. The main thing to know is its a timing tool not a holding tool. To avoid cam shaft damage and tool damage is to know how to use it correctly. To undo the camshaft bolts you need a camshaft sprocket holding tool and to not have the camshaft tools bolted up when undoing them. Once the sprocket bolts have been released using the sprocket holding tool you then realign the timing and then refit the locking tool bolts. A lack of knowledge and experience using this tool can lead to expensive and unnecessary damages. I would recommend this reasonable priced tool over the over priced laser version at £140. It's not the tool quality that's the problem it's the users knowledge and experience at fault.

Just to let you know that the kit worked fine and with a good fit. I have had cam/crank locking kits that have not fitted well at all before and that is very frustrating so , you can buy this kit with absolute confidence!

The tongues that fit into the groove in the camshafts chip very easily. I was very careful not to put any pressure on them yet the broke anyway. If you’re a mechanic and will need to use these multiple times I recommend you buy something of better quality.
