Gamechanger.
As someone who hates laundry and lives in a rental this is the best purchase i've made in years. I actually have a laundry system in my life that works. I was worried it would be an eye sore in my apartment, but it takes up the same space as a hamper. It's now my hamper actually. It lives in a corner in my kitchen. I have it hooked up to the water line under my sink. I did a little bit of research and with a few home depot runs to make it happen. It's a water line through the back of my cabinet and it's completely unnoticeable. The difference of having the direct water line is huge. Now the only thing I need to do when I start a load is plop the drain hose into my sink. My kitchen doesn't look like a DIY rv on laundry day. It's one step below having a real washer dryer.I first bought the black and decker model that is similar but quickly returned it. It leaked... by design? With diy fixes in the reviews, which is ridiculous. This model is great because a) it is built to not leak?, same price and the top window actually looks into the basin while washing. Black and Decker's has a plastic door you have to close in the basin so the top window is looking at a black pastic door while washing. The build quality is great. The drain pump and agitators seem heavy duty and i've never had any trouble. No leaks. I actually trust the thing. It dries everything to where it is damp enough i can just hang it up. I prefer it actually to a dryer. Prevents shrinking and everything is dry by the next day. It's big enough to do everything i need to do, even queen size sheets. and not any bigger than it needs to be for a single person. The loads are a perfect size where it feels efficient, yet not overwhelming with having space to dry everything. Perfect size in my book. You can't go wrong. The only quirk is sometimes it resets the wash cycle if you pause it midway to open the door. Which is annoying to restart mid wash.Other than that, i can't believe what I was doing before I bought this. Game changer. With a little extra effort you can make it fit your space seamlessly.Note: The picture makes it look grey or silver. The bottom half is offwhite.

The Best Washer Ever!! The Mighty Mine Machine!
Let me begin with I have kept house for over 40 years and I really consider myself a savvy consumer. Over the years I have had a Sears Kenmore washer and dryer (that lasted over 19 years)! A General Electric washer and dryer which lasted only 6 years and two sets of Maytag washer and dryers for the remainder of the years. By far I got more bang for my buck with the Sears Kenmore. The last set of Maytag machines cost over $3,500 on sale and was only five years new. For the past year the washer has given me nothing but problems! Fortunately I have a home warranty that aided in the repairs until they deemed the machine "un-repairable."During this period of the Maytag working and not working, rather than go to the laundry mat, which is quite expensive (over $30.00 weekly) I decided to purchase a mini washer. After careful review I decided on the Farberware washer. This machine is a work horse! My clothes came out extremely clean. While I could only wash small amounts of clothes in each load, it was well worth the investment! My challenge is now how to fit this machine into the laundry area as I really want to keep it for small loads and as a back up for untimely breakdowns.Just in case anyone is curious I purchased a Speed Queen commercial washer and dryer which took over six weeks for delivery! Then to my utter disappointment the agitator in the washer broke on the fifth load! The dryer sensor does not work so I can only dry my clothes' on timed drying. So here I am again....but ever so glad to have my Mighty Mini Machine!Jori HighP.S. I thought getting my Maytag fixed was a challenge, let me tell you it was a cake walk compared to getting the Speed Queen serviced!

Horrible.
Warehouse deals listed this as like new, packaging will be damaged. I received this filthy, packaging was beat up, and it was FULL OF WATER making it weigh like 70 lbs. It was missing most of the parts like the faucet adapter, drainage plug, drainage tube connector. I could not check the bottom to see what the inside looked like since it was full of water, so I hooked the drainage tube securely and turned it on and it POURED DIRTY WATER ALL OVER MY KITCHEN coming straight from the bottom of the machine. I frantically had to lift the machine into my sink and use all of my towels to clean up disgusting water so I don't flood my downstairs neighbors apartment. I am a 150 lb semi-small human and this was a hulk moment, but there was an inch of standing dirty water all over my floor. I finally drained it enough to look at the bottom inside. The motor was unsecured and the styrofoam on the inside wall was completely shredded. There were wires connected to nothing. There was PAPER TOWELS ZIP TIED TO PART OF IT. Unidentified loose parts. I could have been electrocuted. I cut my finger open trying to lift the thing into my sink. My bathtub is filled with soaking wet filthy towels I will have to pay to take to the laundromat and wash, until then I guess I can't shower. I'm gonna have to bleach my whole kitchen. This has been the absolute worst warehouse deal experience of my life. Quality control is apparently not a concern anymore. This was supposed to be a treat for myself to make my life a little easier. Instead now I have to repackage this abomination and try to send it back. Goodbye to 4 hours of my life I could have relaxed. Glad to have to make another trip to the apartment laundromat. What a nightmare. Check the pictures out. I researched portable washers for 6 months too. I'm beyond disappointed. My apartment is trashed with all the packaging and my tub is full of disgusting towels. The thing is taking up my whole kitchen. It's completely mind blowingly negligent for them to send a product out like this. The outside was also dirty, the inside was full of hair and grime, the bottom was sticky and dirty with what looked like hair and cat litter. I work evenings, and I have a young kid in school. I just wanted laundry to be one easy thing in my life since I only have the weekends to do it. The laundry room closes at 10. Now I have to deal with cleaning up this mess.
