The  Exceptionally Small Electronic Pet Locator  has saved me from countless hours of searching for my cat and keys. After four years, the one on my cat is still working but the one on my keys finally broke. Considering the abuse that tag suffered from being thrown around and dropped on the floor, four years is a long time. I knew I needed another one and none of those other brands of locators would do.I've already put a tag to use and it works exactly as the original. I'll save the other one in case the one on the cat dies. I don't think it will, since the cat takes very good care of it. With this set, I expect to be good for the next ten years, unless the Locator itself goes kaput.

I received the product on time. There were two items in the box, one was fine the other was defective. When I called the company to replace just the one they refused. I ordered their pet tags because one of my cats had lost his and I imagine the heavy rain that night probably ruined it. It has a protective sheild and works well if its on the animal but not if it sits in water for any period of time. Anyway, I set up one tag and already had it on the cat when I realized the other wasn't working. I ordered from them because I could get it quickly with no extra cost. I would have gladly paid for fast delivery since it is important and comforting to know where my animals are, especially a cat who wonders. Instead of allowing me to keep the one that worked and was already on the cat thay refused to just replace the defective one because"that would mean opening up a new box". What's the difference? If I returned just the one they still end up with an open box. Sorry, defeated the pupose of trying to replace mind quickly. I returned them both and ordered from another company and hopefully customer service will mean something to them. I will not be ordering from quantum wireless again.

These tags do work as described and make it very easy to locate lost items. However, they are built very cheaply and will eventually come apart possibly resulting in loss of the circuit board and/or batteries. I have replaced 2 of these due to the normal wear and tear of use. I would pay a little more if the items were constructed a bit heavier and held together with a screw instead of just snapping together.

One of my batteries for the tags has already died but it lasted six months. I use it to track my cats when they get out I also have the waterproof tag protectors.

Tend to break down every year but when they work or cats will come running every time

I have used the Loc8tor for 5 months without fail. It finds my cats up here in the large RV campgrounds we vacation at. Cats have learned the sound themselves and come to greet me most of the time. Problem: the soft rubber water resistant tag split and fell off but I found it, so I switched to the water resistant collar pouch provided. Second problem (cats always cause these), water resistant tag holder dipped in the water bowl and shorted out. Had to buy new ones at $50 for two. Is that worth it to you? My cats are worth it to me.

Seems to work good, you just have to point the remote in the direction of the receiver. i was able to find my dog when he snuk off across the street about 300ft away, i have a lot of trees i could not see him

I ordered these when the locator tags that came in my first set didn't last a week. I'd hoped the first set was a fluke. Nope, these both lasted a total of 2 days before they randomly stopped working. I love the idea, but these just don't work well.
