Good bird feeder
I buy a few of these bird feeders every year (from the local feed store). They come in a variety of colors - red, yellow, blue, and green. The reason I buy so many on a regular basis is they tend to get pretty battered by the squirrels here. They raid the feeders so much that I've gotten to where I don't even fill up the chamber, but instead fill up only the tray. Course doing that means the trays need filling every morning.Another reason I replace bird feeders every year, is these plastic feeders start looking a bit worn after about two years in the Texas sun and weather.All-in-all I like these feeders (and apparently so do the birds and squirrels), they are a bit more heavy-duty that others I've tried. On a related note, I hang these using Steel Sash Chain s (which I also buy at one of the local home improvement stores). I've tried other methods - but these chains seem to do the best job (and the squirrels can't chew through it). I also usually put a tie-wrap on the hook that attaches the feeder to the chain to secure that the feeder can't come loose of the chain.Just to add a note in case anyone was curious, the color of the feeder I received was red. Which was fine with me. I get them impression at times that the cardinals like the red feeders better.

It works, but be prepared for a squirrel party...
The media could not be loaded. I bought two of these at Tractor Supply before I realized the squirrel issue I would have, which makes this feeder is a literal squirrel-a-palooza (they can easily hang onto the sides and just dig in), and aside from the fact that the squirrels ate a hole in one of the lids....the one good thing about this is through Florida's wet summer (and this very wet winter we're having), the feeders have held up and these are probably the only feeders I've tried where no matter how much it rains (even if it rains after the squirrels have 'unscrewed' the top to where the fill hole is open) I've never had an issue with the blackoil sunflower seeds rotting or getting stuck. So if you can get these feeders cheap, and need to add a few extra to your yard, it might be worth it. I do have squirrel cob feeders and a separate feeder of just corn for the squirrels but they would rather have the sunflower seeds (the bluejays, doves and woodpeckers seem to prefer the corn). I get goldfinches, red winged black birds, red bellied woodpeckers, red headed woodpeckers, grackles, three types of doves, bluejays and even brown headed cowbirds using these feeders (will attach video). The bigger and fatter birds can fit on just fine. I'm waiting till the squirrels completely destroy these before getting new metal feeders but so far they've been up almost a year.

Excellent feeder
Well built. The slide-open filler window works well and using a funnel speeds it up.Birds like it.

Great Feeder
I love this feeder, I received it in green. I have all different size birds, from chickadees to large Grosbeak's and this works for everybody. Several big Grosbeak's can eat from this feeder at once. The chickadee's and nuthatches love to just grab seeds and go. Great feeder as it also holds allot 4# and I don't have to fill only every week or so.

This is going in the garbage. Yesterday I purchased a hexagonal feeder under ten ...
This is the flimsiest feeder I have ever seen. The top and bottom ore vinyl, the hopper is clear plastic. It is all held together with a spring steel compression washer (the kind used to hold small plastic wheels onto axels), if you ever have to clean the inside you will destroy the washer when you dismantle the feeder. The pole mounting advertised, which is why I bought it, is only about 3' deep. I wonder how long it will take four pounds of feed to crack the pole mount. To fill you turn a plastic cover to access a triangular opening 2.5' at it's widest. The hopper has three cracks in it. One is large. This is going in the garbage. Yesterday I purchased a hexagonal feeder under ten dollars that had none of the above problems, I think I'll get another
