SPYPOINT SB-300 LINK MICRO Security Box, All Steel

Fits the Spypoint Link Micro. I haven't mounted it to anything yet but I have test fitted it and it should work out nicely and keep my camera secure by either screwing the box to a pole or tree. You can also still run a cable through the back of it. I plan using a solar battery bank with camera and as long and the cable is long enough it should be able to run through the security box and into the camera.

The heavy duty steel along with the holes drilled in the back of the box allow you to make it impossible to remove the camera without damage it , making the camera useless to the person trying to steal it , adding a’ viper locking further thwarts the thief .

The good part is that this will work for a decent bear case but it does leave the antenna exposed. Outside of not using cellular cameras you don't have many choices with that aspect though. I liked the ability to screw this into my location and not need any strap which is a dead giveaway if you are trying to keep the cameras low visible. The camo pattern matches the cameras pretty close and does a decent job of blending into the bark. The down side was that I couldn't fit my cameras into the case at all until I took a grinder and took off almost 1/8th of an inch on each side of the box. It still was very tight to slide in but does work now. Once it was put into the box the cover went on no problem and could be locked. Overall it is worth it for a long term camera placement and to protect it from bears. One thing I did was use the corded antenna extender that replaced the factory plastic one so I could thread the cord down and around so if a bear does beat it up hopefully it sacrifices the 10 dollar antenna and not the camera. I notice no improvement on reception so it's simply giving a bear a weak link thats cheaper to deal with.

This is a trail cam security box . It protects the camera from theft and vandalism. It is made of heavy gauge steel and it fits my SpyPoint trail cam securely.

Works great only down side is not with the camera it's the battery packs I got they do not work in the cameras so had to use AA batteries but camera works great have 5 of them.. would highly recommend them..

This box is durable, secure, and very discreet. Once it is attached to a tree, it is very difficult for the bypasser to see.

Very good quality, just not for the any of the models listed in the add, except the micro link-s-lte. That model has the solar panel on top, and this box has the hole in the top for that solar charger. The entire top of the camera is exposed unless you have the solar panel version.

I have 2 of these and I haven’t lost a camera yet, one is 6 hours away, I have had 3 trail cams stole n before I started using these boxes.

Works great . Wish it had more protection on the top it is totally open and not sure y. But the box is totally strong.

Its exactly as advertised, fits the micro and micro solar. Bears wont be chewing on my camera no more! Ive got 4 spypoint cameras and this is a accessory you cant go without in bear country
