Found this item so useful on our beach holiday, it is a really decent size, big enough for the 4 of us to chill on and great that you can secure it in place with the hooks on the corners & pegs provided. I loved how it is resistant to the sand too, it was so easy to just use my hand to brush the sand away. It is so handy that it has a bag attached too so really easy to fold away & neatly pack into the bag (which also holds the pegs) and has a carabiner on the bag so could hang onto your rucksack maybe? I am very impressed with this item & would definitely recommend for anyone needing a beach mat/picnic blanket. It is quite thin but very durable and waterproof I would think? I will definitely be using on many occasions.

This blanket is a massive 210 by 200, yet it is compact and easy to carry using the included carry sack with compression straps to squeeze this blanket into a tiny bundle. Not only does this allow you to spread out your basecamp but also protects your feet from the harsh heat of the sand. The material also creates a soft place to rest after time in the water. Sand won’t stick to the fabric either. All you need to do is simply brush it off. You won’t have to wait anytime for this beach blanket to dry and the polyester is strong, durable, waterproof and sandproof. This makes it great not only for the beach but also for soccer games and other family outings such as camping. Simply throw it into the trunk of your car so you always have a clean and dry place to sit, no matter where you are! The 4 pegs ensure your blanket won’t blow away and prevent it or from gusting like a parachute while it’s on the ground. I love the colour too, you won’t be losing the family on a busy beach with this bad boy. All in all, I think it brilliant and well worth the money.

The waterproofing is super light

Amazingly light and small. Even more amazing is I'm able to take it out of the holder and use it, and then roll it back up, to fit back into the holder! The holder bag is even built in which is a great idea, especially as you can fill it with sand which gives extra confidence in it not blowing away in a strong wind. This is back up to the included pegs of course but we all know how useless pegs and sand can be.The only negative thing I would say is that the description says this is water resistant and the images say waterproof It's not really. Water quite easily passes through. It's definitely resistant to send though. Sand just repels from it with a quick shake.

Loved the size and colour of this beach/picnic blanket but it is very thin, more like a ground sheet so if you were somewhere stoney or pebbly you'd probably need to put a blanket on top of it. Also, ours had a peg missing, we only had 3 instead of 4.

We bought this to use on a trip to the beach and was pleasantly surprised with how big it was. The material appears to be waterproof and sandproof so that when the water or sand goes onto it, it actually doesn’t get wet or stick. A quick shake and the sand just rolls off and the best thing that I love is that it folds into such a small size and into its own little bag.

I bought this for the holidays last year, when it arrived I wasn't keen on the fabric but I chose to trust the process and I must admit that I love this beach towel! I like the plastic bits to plant it in the ground and the fact that it dries up very quickly and it's easy to remove the sand! I also like that it's huge and both me and my husband can stay on it and that it doesn't occupy much space in the bag.I would advise to bring a spare towel to dry up after taking a swim in the sea or lake otherwise this product is perfect!

I haven't tried this picnic mat out yet, but it's a good size and seems easy to fold. I like the fact it has pegs to secure it down in sand or soft ground, and can be used as an awning or wind break, if there's something suitable to tie it to using the straps provided. It's great that the bag is attached to the mat and can't blow away or be lost.It can be washed on a 30 degree wash - good should there be spillages - but I guess it wouldn't be warm to sit on like a rug.
