Great Primer with Excellent Quality
This stuff really is great. It sprays smoothly and gives solid coverage with excellent adhesion to 3D prints and miniatures. The quality is obvious from the first use. The finish is listed as matte but I would describe it as a very subtle satin instead. It dries to the touch quickly but giving it about 24 hours to fully cure makes a big difference. Once cured it becomes rock hard and extremely durable. I ended up returning it only because I wanted a completely matte finish but it might work out perfectly for you. Ps. In the picture of the left is with the primer and the right is without. I 3D printed this part with PETG filament.

Best primer ever
Vallejo Black Mecha Primer is hands down the best black primer I have used. It is nice and thin, goes on smoothly they an airbrush and can be mixed with thinner for a great consistent application. It’s thin enough to where you can even brush it in and not lose definition in a model. It is a great Vallejo black and will give you great shadows w out having to use a black paint if needed. Best primer ever

Best primer I've used
Probably the best airbrush primer I've used. Doesn't gum up easily and dries relatively quickly.

Perfect out of the bottle no thinning required
After running into problems with other colors of primer I was a hit hesitant to try this one but decided to give it a go as I do like the Vallejo paint. Once I loaded this up into the airbrush I was pleasantly surprised to see the paint Flow easily with no problem and no clogging at all during my session. I was able to cover a particularly large piece and the coverage was great, it adheres perfectly to plastic. Best thing was I didn't need to add anything to it so it was a really easy process. Additionally I was able to use a brush with the primer (wanted to test it out) and still worked out fine. Would definitely recommend!

Get the bigger bottle.
I purchased a small bottle of this to brush on and it did great. When I got an airbrush, the small bottle primer would clog up my airbrush, even at about 50/50 primer/thinner. The 200ml bottle does much better. I like their primer and their paints. The color is dead on as well. I am not going to stop using their primer, I’m just not going to be getting it in the small bottles anymore.

Pretty decent primer.
This primer works fantastic in the drybrush right out of the bottle, it very easily sprays on a nice coat that's not too thick or thin and dries fast (but not too fast). The primer seems to have a decent amount of "tooth" to it and paint sticks to it pretty good. It forms an extremely durable layer that is very difficult to stretch or tear once fully cured. My only issue is that I repeatedly noticed that after I had primed a piece and let it dry to the touch, I would set it down to cure and then the next morning I would find a few places here and there where the primer had flaked off. I'm always careful to make sure that the pieces are clean and dry before priming so I'm not too sure what the issue could be. Regardless, it's easily touched up again.

Great and can be sprayed without thinning
I can spray this without thinning in my airbrush and it works perfect. I’ll stick to this stuff. I also have the gray one for when I need a lighter base.

Great but stinky, not fantastic for just using a brush
Everything people are saying is true. I have a few caveats. Scent and very thin so it splashes with a brush. I know plenty of you are using AIR brushes but I am using a basic hand brush which the product says it can be used for. It can but not without problems. It stinks. I can't use it in my tiny space, the smell fills the place up. It has a sort of chemical paint smell. My profession is 'painter,' so trust me when I say this has a scent. I use all kinds of paints all the time...i know stinky paint. Also the scent lingers. You need to let them air out for some time or you bring that smell in your house. It is super thin primer. It will reach all the nooks and crannies. So that is good. However, because it is so thin it splatters big time with a brush. Not too big a deal but you need to work outside or in a space where you can be messy. This is so much better than the basic gritty gray primer I got from a kit. It really gets all over the mini. Anyway, great product but my suspicion is this really is just for air brushes but I am uncertain. It is less functional for folks with just a stick with hair not the end (a brush).

Assolutametne consigliato.

Great coverage and better then buying a bunch of small bottles.

It's my go to primer for resin printed models. The coverage is good and the satin finish is perfect for what I need. It is a bit pricey from this vendor as local stores sell these for about 400-600yen less, but I suppose you pay for the convenience of delivery.

I bought this to really dive into slapchop painting for D&D minis, which has been a lot of fun. It provides a great, consistent base after a few coats and has really sped up my process when using slapchop.
