CLOUDY BAY 12V AC/DC LED Step Light,3000K Warm White, Oil Rubbed Bronze

I've had low voltage light risers in the deck stairs for almost 20 years and they occasionally wear out and have to be replaced (this is my 3rd time replacing the riser lights). In the past I have used riser lights from Lowes that had a 7w halogen bulb but they no longer carry them, so I tried Amazon and found these and I installed 4 of them yesterday (fifth one is arriving today) and they are substantially brighter than the ones they are replacing and they also angle the light down directly onto the step. If you look at the attached photo you will see what I mean (the old style light is the middle step).Installation does require a junction box be installed (not included), so factor that into the prices (these are $2-$3 in cost, so it's not much). Installation for me was a breeze since I was replacing existing low voltage fixtures -- I just removed the old fixture and junction box (it came with the light and could not be re-used), snipped the wires to the existing light, put in the new junction box, and used the wire nuts to correct the light to the original wires.They've only been installed for a day, though, so I can't make any statements on longevity of them, but if they last like the other ones I have replaced I expect to get 6-7 years from them.

I had 3 lights go out within the first 6 months. However, the manufacture stood behind these and sent 3 new ones out. Great customer service! Can't wait to get the new ones installed.

Replace existing lights with these step lights and adds more light to the surface. Started with just one light to make sure it would fit into the existing light box and would work. Ordered 4 more and they arrived before I was expecting them. Love that I will not need to keep changing the light bulbs. Beside being a step light for stairs this product could also be used to add accent lighting to a bbq center

Small package, great light with gentle touch control. All metal save the lens...it's plastic. No heat from LED so why not? This is great design both visually and in utility. Good return for $$'s spent. Don't see much to wear out. Installed a pair as reading light upgrades in a 1997 Pleasure Way Class B. We really like this vehicle & choose replacements with care & consideration. These lights are winners.des

I REALLY liked these lights.... until they quit working. They had a beautiful glow, but one by one they started turning yellow. The picture is 3 months after installation and the left light is already yellow. And now 8 months later it stopped working altogether. I messaged the company, they asked for a photo which I provided and then no response. I do not recommend these lights.

All have worked well after being installed for over a month. They dont perfectly seal between the concrete step so I put some clear silicone around the top and both sides of each light. This will allow any moisture buildup from inside the jbox box to escape, and prevent any top or side water intrusion.

These units do a good job of using LED illumination efficiently. They were easy to install and each worked flawlessly on the first try. Would recommend... They work on either DC or AC 12V, which is fortunate as I have 12 V AC...
