We purchased 4 of these to make a quick and portable outdoor run for our rabbits. This product is sturdy and well built, and using it is very quick and easy.We especially like the vertical design of the wire mesh, which makes it much harder for animals to climb the panels. This keeps our rabbits well secured and happy! The doors work well and lock securely, and although we do not use the extra security latch, people who own larger animals will appreciate this feature.If using for a medium or large dog, I would recommend purchasing at least two of these and linking them together. One would be sufficient for a single rabbit, small dog, etc.If using more than one pen linked together, I would recommend against using these in a box shape. Even with the included stiffeners, the panels have a tendency to lean when arranged in long, straight lines. A determined animal could likely find its way out in that case. Using a rounded shape, or zig-zagging the panels provides more rigidity, and eliminates this problem.These pens are linkable with other similar brands, such as those sold at TSC. The lobster clips make linking the pens together quick and easy, and you can easily arrange the panels to make smaller individual pens within the same larger structure.

I have 6-8 of these gates in varying sizes. They're made of a "good-sized gauge" of wire that is substantial enough to stand on its own, take abuse, secure your pets, and light enough to carry. The painted surface is durable enough for outdoor use such as camping where the surfaces can vary outside of grass, concrete, or any other surfaces you would see at home. They're portable and can easily be stacked on top of each other or leaned on each other for transport. It is easy to assemble, as there isn't any assembly required outside of clipping one side to the other with the included clips.We use these primarily for our two nearly 100 pound dogs while camping. They're trained dogs and this is important on how you use this product. We set up a large perimeter utilizing 6-8 sets of gates together to create a visual barrier for them. They're large dogs and they can easily push through or jump over these if they wanted to or if we asked them too. This would include securing the gate down to the ground with the supplied stakes. For smaller dogs within the 50 pound range, I believe these would be substantially enough to stop them from getting out, but the height option used will play a big role. Generally we use the 30" height option. This is important because we use these simply to keep my dogs corralled as they're very friendly and would potentially wander to see new people. They're also trained to not go past this gate unless we let them even if the gate door is open. It is also used as a visual barrier for others who don't like dogs to know our dogs are secure. That being said, this gate system (IMO) is NOT a security system. This system is not robust enough to secure larger dogs. I would go with a different option that better fits your intended use. For smaller dogs that cannot use their wait or jumping abilities to escape, this may be an option. Be mindful of these.Overall, the build quality, portability/weight, and price point, this a great portable option, especially for how we use use this in our family. I would recommend.
